Well 2014,2015 and 2017 will be the 100 year remembrance of the beginning/joining the first world war from a lot of allied countries.

That means a lot of tv series and movies.

All Quiet on the Western Front (2014-2015)&#xD;&#xA;I understand that Daniel "Harry Potter" Radcliffe is scheduled to play Paul Baumer. haven&#x27;t seen who the other players are. Yeah the Forbidden Ground movie has quite the interesting background. It is a movie that is self financed and it will go directly to DVD except in Australia (where it is produced). It will get a cinema premiere there.

The founders of the movie also play parts in it, and they raised funds for it, though one of the guys pyrotechnic company. So all the explosions and the real stuff not computer generated.

Btw i really would like if Tom Hanks and Stephen Spielberg did a major 1 world war series (in the mold of Band of Brothers" instead of the 3 epic 2 world war series they are planning with HBO.

Coltrane is excellent at playing a "Dutch Uncle" or "Mother Hen" type character like "Kat" is to the boys in the squad when they reach the front.
