What about Limp Bizkit, Sum 41, or Nickleback?  They're pretty awesome too huh?

I honestly find it motherfucking FASCINATING that in this day and age, with SOOOOOOOOOOOO much awesome/diverse music out there............that people that aren't 7th graders can actually not only listen to something as contrived and musically dull and awful as linkin Park, but will also hype it as the best stuff they've heard all year.

Fucking Pathetic.

This is without question my favorite new band-

This is my favorite song on their disc- studio version is obviously more refined.

You won't be disappointed.

I guess it's technically not from this year but "Feel Good Drag" by Anberlin gets me going each and every time I hear it!

I love that song too.  Did you know the song is about 3 years old?  It was released a few albums ago on their indie label.

Anberlin has been "Warped Tour" or "scene" band for years and sold over 250,000 albums before they got picked up by Universal Republic last year.

UR has done an amazing job with getting them on the radio.  They've always had amazing songs for the last 5 years.

This is another American band that's bigger in Europe than in their own country.  They are a cross between early The Cure and the band 90's band Len.

They should have named themselves "The Cure jr"  instead of Black Kids.  They get an A for teaching themselves to sound like The Cure, but an F for being unoriginal.  Reminds me of what Oasis did with recycling The Beatles.
