From The Muddy Banks Of The Wishkah - Nirvana: Bit of a cheat since it's multiple concerts edited into one, but still a great glimpse into what Nirvana was and what Nirvana could have been.
Standout track: "Aneurysm"
Wide Awake In America - U2: Even more of a cheat since it's not a full length concert and it only contains two live tracks but, man, do they ever knock them out of the park!
Standout tracks: "A Sort Of Homecoming" and "Bad"
Frampton Comes Alive! - Peter Frampton: What's that line from Wayne's World, "Everybody in the world has Frampton Comes Alive. If you lived in the suburbs you were issued it. It came in the mail with samples of "Tide"
Standout track: "Show Me The Way"
And All That Could Have Been - Nine Inch Nails: Saw them during the tour and the album is just "Wow!"
Standout track: "March Of The Pigs"
Live At The Grand Olympic Auditorium - Rage Against The Machine: Another band that called it quits way too soon, but what a way to go out.
Standout track: "Bulls On Parade"
Alive In Seattle - Heart: One of my favourite groups of all time with just a spectacular performance.
Standout track: "Barracuda"
Live 1980/86 - Joe Jackson: As far as I'm concerned, one of the most criminally under-appreciated artists of all time.
Standout track: "You Can't Get What You Want (Till You Know What You Want)"
I know I'm leaving stuff out but that's what I came up with off the top of my head (if only Metallica and Tool would come out with some live stuff already!). Now let's see how many come in with "How The West Was Won" and/or "Live At Leeds".
