Strat - Cleanest sounding of the bunch
Destroyer - Crunchiest
Ovation - Biggest pain in the ass
Epiphone Strat Style - OK
Les Paul - My favorite
One I made out of old shit - it's the most fn to tool around with
I feel like I'm forgetting about one. . .

Is the Ovation a pain because of its rounded body? They use to be very popular guitars, but in the past 20 years you very rarely see people playing them. Its amazing they are still making them. When I was younger I had an Appluase, cause I couldn't afford the Ovation. Remember those?

Yeah, my mom still has an Applause. . .
I've owned 2 Ovations, a deep bowl, and the one I have now is shallow. The deep bowl was one of the worst I've ever had to play, the action was horrible, sound was muddy, and you could never get comfotable with it. The edges were sharp, and it would crease into my forearm, and it would never stay fucking still on my knee. The one I have now has MUCH better action and sound, but it's still not exactly what I'd call comfortable. It's tolerable though

Yes, it is. You could say that I am obsessed with it. I actually was able to jam with Buddy Guy about 10 years ago. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had. This guy influenced Hendrix and Clapton, and I was jamming with him.
