I grew up listening to a lot of classic rock but never really got into Led Zeppelin, until very recently, and as you know they are amazing.
My question is, what are your favorite Zeppelin songs? Especially ones that are less mainstream, because I've heard those and I'm looking for other stuff.
Going to california, good times bad times, whole lotta love, and over the hills & far away are some of my favorites.

Ten years gone...........In the Light............they peaked with the Physical Grafitti album IMO. Not to say they didn't make some good stuff after that but it turned from that point on.

" Always thought it odd that album was called that, but the song "Houses Of The Holy" wasn't on it.......Anyone know why? Always been curious.."
From what heard there were several reasons, not sure if any of them are actually true. 1st: They never had a song with the same name as the album. 2nd. The band thought the song sounded very close to Dancing Days and 3rd: It was one of the last songs recorded and just didn't make the album, therefore it was put on Physical Graf.
Houses of the Holy are actually the venues Zep played in the early days. It actually refers to the spirtual feel of their concerts. Which is so true. When I saw them in 1976 it was like you were almost in a spiritual state of mind.

I agree with gutcheck, The Presence LP is my favorite . Although, I would say it is most people's least favorite Zep LP. There are a lot of great songs on there like " Candy Store Rock " & " Royal Orleans." I love" The Battle Evermore" On The 4th LP too. Sandy Denny from Fairport Convention was an underrated artist.
