i got on myspace for the first time in years and had to listen to like 6 different airbag groups before i could find one that sounded like pink floyd. so far, they sound pretty good.

Not bad, at least the sound colours, but I didn't put it through any acid type test
If you wanna toss me some LSD and let me hear it on that plane well my mouth is wide open
I know Floyd can always be listened to regardless of high/sober/drunk/tripping/pk's what have you, so I'd have to run them through the full gamet of levels!
If you don't know what I mean try some DXM the "proper" way, try to listen to The Machine by floyd (almost too much)....Of course floyd on lsd is the bomb, but many other bands fit that bill....But on certain substances that really heighten your sound it may be different...I know Tom Petty recorded albums using a couple guys on acid, but being on different levels some things aren't the same
I listened to this song on some whiskey and I'm in a relaxed/happy/chill type mood, for music to be great I think it's gotta hit multiple moods and multiple planes....Meaning if I was on Nitrous the Grateful Dead would probably be tremendous, but on speed I may dig Guns N Roses more...We all differ, and substance/mindset/mood is also different, but a band must recognize this if they want to be universally accepted, at least IMO....
