I wouldn&#x27;t list him in my list of top 10 artists I like but I did respect him as an artist and appreciated his talents. It&#x27;s a shame he died so young

Was never really into Prince, but there was no mistaking the unique, solid talent &amp; creativity. If I was 10-12 yrs younger, probably would have been different. RIP

like almost everyone in this thread i wasnt crazy about his music,only liked 3 or 4 of his songs...but reading about the dude now you cannot deny he was a musical frickin genius.

absolute insane workaholic that produced a ridiculous,prolific amount of work and reputedly mastered damn near every single instrument known to man and of course is recognised as one of the best guitar players ever.....no other artist before or since cud be said to have had even a slightly similar sound to prince.

seeing interviews he did actually makes me pretty sad and i never,ever been sad about "celebrity" deaths before.(why wud i be??i dont know them).....he was a soft-spoken,shy,righteous,compassionate dude but didnt come across as totally normal cos he spent his entire life devoted to music and never developed social skills.

its weird but it cuts me up thinking about his death...i encourage any of y'all to read up on the guy...you'll find sum interesting stuff i assure you.

over-dosed on pain-killers(opiates) apparently....he had hip problems and related pain for years after jumping around on stage off high risers and shiit and doing the splits etc....all in hi heel shoes no less.

I have a weirdness Prince story,&#xA;I went to see a concert of His, not being a big Prince fan but wanted to see His guitar playing.  It was at the MGM/LV and I bought the cheapest ticket thinking I would Hustle a seat down close. &#xA;I went down to the floor and was sitting in an empty seat, planning my next move to where I would go to see the concert.  I was near the sound board towards the back of the floor and I noticed a big road case right next to the board. That was out of place...Then I saw a rectangle hole in top of the case and I saw movement in it.....Someone was in the case... I walked over to the road case....saw it was Prince inside just checking out the people as they entered the concert.  the road crew guys saw me coming over to the box and they quickly took the road case that was on wheels to a different location.  I just wanted to have a chat with Him....lol&#xA;I guess it would be a trip for Prince to be with the people as they entered ad feel the vibe...I kinda feel bad I spoiled that for Him but I had a few pops in Me.
