Radiohead.............

i've seen so many bands over the last 20 or so years....

 

naming the meat of it:

 

dave matthews, pearl jam, phish, SRV, U2, van halen, aerosmith, blues traveler, REM, nine inch nails, metallica, green day, neil young, jeff beck, lenny kravitz, everclear, smashing pumpkins, the dead, joe walsh, tool, bare naked ladies, dylan, tom petty, kiss, motley crue, black crows, so so many others.......

 

the point i'm making mentioning all these bands is I stumbled upon this band Radiohead maybe 12 years ago and they have grown on me and grown on me more and more with each CD they come out with...I finally saw them live this last summer in mansfield, massachusetts and they absolutely blew me away....this band is so very special and unique, i'd very strongly recommend you see them live if you have even the slightest interest in them....they are very much an "under the radar" band, not commercialized at all, very very intense songs....very much not in it for commercialized attention, by far the best concert i've ever been to.

Agreed. Amazing band. O.K. Computer is the album that defines Generation X.

 

In Rainbows is in my top 5 albums released so far this century.

 

Radiohead is a great band.....

I like Radiohead and own several cds.  ...but was never able to put up with the whining through a whole cd.  Can only take them in doses.  Although, Creep and Fake Plastic Trees are two of my favorite songs ever!

I have tried and tried and tried, but I just don't get the love for this band.

saw them in San Diego last year the best i have seen

when i saw them they played for about 2 1/2 hours, the light show was so sick

The best band of the past 15-20 years.  Radiohead's influence on music will be felt for a very long time and comparisons to some of rock's greatest bands are now, and will always be made.

Get completely shitfaced one night and first thing the next morning while your nerves are shot, lay in bed and listen to "Reckoner" from "In Rainbows".  If you don't get chills you are dead.

 

By far, my favorite band of all time (see avatar). I fell in love with their music in 1997 when OK Computer came out and I was in college. I have seen them live 4x and each time was special. The In Rainbows show this summer in Toronto was unreal. There is just something about them and to see them live is another experience. The only album I dislike is Pablo Honey, which was their first record. I can listen to any of their CD's, start to finish, any day or time.
