Just listening to some tunes and figured I'd try and inspire the younger members to discover some music and artists they may not have heard before. Not necessarily "classic" or "Top 40" stuff - just stuff I liked back then and still listen to an awful lot surprisingly enough now. Feel free to contribute.
Talk Talk - "Life's What You Make It"Echo & The Bunnymen - "The Killing Moon" Go-Go's - "Our Lips Are Sealed" (Still surprisingly hot) Pixies - "Here Comes Your Man" (Still touring) Rick Springfield - "Jessie's Girl" (Hey, don't laugh - it's a great song!)

Not sure who remembers this one, but stumbled upon a few Donnie Iris tunes on YouTube the other night, totally forgot about that guy. They sound pretty much the same live as on record. They even have some clip of him from a recent show in 2009 and seems like he can still get it done.
Donnie Iris - Ah Leah Live 1981
Donnie Iris - Love is Like a Rock Live 1981
Donnie Iris - Do You Compute

Some other early 80's AOR type rock oriented things while going around YouTube.
Aldo Nova - Fantasy and Monkey On Your Back
Not sure who remembers this, but Michael Bolton used to do early 80's guitar rock with keyboard before he became a crooner for 40 year old bored housewives. Fool's Game
Triumph - Fight the Good Fight Live '83 US Festival
Prism - Don't Let Him Know
Van Zant - I'm A Fighter I used to like the video because Marvelous Marvin Hagler was in it.
