Your opinion of greatest "performers", certainly doesn't have to be stadium sell out types

But, without John Bonham, who was such a big part of Zep. But, I agree I don't knowwhat the deal is with Plant. I heard he is getting ready to do a tour with the band he was with prior to joining Zep. Here is the link....

Havent seen Metallica live in ages, but for me their run from '86 to about '90 are probably the best shows to have seen these guys live.  On the rise and hungry with a crazed crowd feeding them.  The speed they played songs was sometimes ridiculous from feeding off the crowd.  I know after '90 I didnt find their shows as good for whatever reason.

Guns n' Roses are awesome live.  I've seen them 12 times now.  For as much shit as he gets, Axl sounds better than ever now, since he's kicked all the substance abuse.

But seeing them back in '90 was awesome.  You just never knew what you were going to get.  I saw them at the CNE in Canada, roughly two weeks before the UYI albums came out.  They were asking fans what song titles they read about.  Fans would yell out songs, and they'd play them.  Played for like 3 hours that night.

Awesome.

Other great performers:

2.  Pearl Jam.  Love their unpredictable setlists.

3.  AC/DC.  Their stage show is always something to behold.

4.  Roger Waters.  Saw him on the Dark Side tour.  Great experience.

5.  Jim Morrison.  Never saw them in person, but it seemed like you'd never know what you'd get from night to night.

Holy crap TTL..........834 concerts?!! That's friggin impressive. I've been to about 100 & I thought I was extreme.

 We've rang our ears with a lot of the same music........  

Seen him many, many times DHop.   Best show was the Acapela tour in Houston.

Of course, Robert and the boys are good live too.  The Curiosa tour of 2004 was good and I got to see Interpol that day as well.  that was a fine day in Dallas I'll tell ya.
