The chassis also served as the primary truck for this season’s races at Nashville Superspeedway and Kansas Speedway where it was driven to second and ninth-place finishes, respectively.

 

that truck was the class of the field at Atlanta, he ran away with that race easily that day, no one had anything for him. Value in Elliot for sure.

Field, judges set for Charlotte’s burnout contest

Who will do the best burnout? That’s among the burning questions as race weeks in Charlotte approach. The speedway’s news release below clears up part of it.

Defending event champion Kevin Harvick and six additional NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stars will compete May 22 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the third annual Pennzoil Ultra Victory Challenge.

        The Challenge is a competition that pits some of NASCAR's top
drivers against one another to see who can deliver the best tire-smoking
burnout, allowing the drivers a chance to showcase some of their best
celebratory skills.

        Looking to take Harvick's crown with the most impressive burnout
will be fellow NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Clint Bowyer, Kyle Busch,
Joey Logano, Jamie McMurray, Ryan Newman and David Reutimann.

how much clout do you think the tire tests deserve?  some telling stuff there if everyone is attempting to put up max speeds.  not sure if they are

not sure much can be taken.If I recall when tests some cars were run by the test drivers.At least I think that was this test

No , this was done for the 1st test with the spoiler on a mile and a half....everyone tested...I just posted the top 10 speeds....all teams and drivers participated in the 2 day test.

I think anytime you get to test, it will help you learn something about the car, setups, etc.....
