no shit, that sounds awesome.. I know its extra but how much more.. .maybe ill do that for the glen this year. and chill by the 16 garage. 

id love to meet chad knause. Man just to learn what he knows would be amazing

[/Quote not available 2 the public u have to know some1..   ive done it once @ atl.  with my old roommate he used 2 work 4 nextel partners 5 yrs ago  its a blast but, alot of people r assholes 4 no reason..   dale jarrett was a DICKKKKK...   its also knowing as a hard card which was what nascar was talking about taking away from tom lagano

   smaller tracks r better 2 try and do something like that   although pocono is 1 of the easiest tracks 2 get drivers autographs...       do u try going 2 many races??

this year was tough bc i wanted to get my degrees and be done

last year i went to martinsville in march, dover in may, glen in aug

this year i'm going to do dover in sept and glen in aug

then every year from here on out Dover both times, Glen, and random races throughout

In Bristol there is no garage so if your in "Hot" then you are literally right smack dab in the middle of the action. stats is correct you have to know a sponsor or someone on a Nascar team in order to get credentials. Its very tough but if you ever get a chance at a hot pass in Bristol do not turn it down at all cost. Its an experience you will never forget. You are literally elbow to elbow with the crews, drivers, officials,goodyear,TV and anyone else associated with a race.

 

I once got a "pit pass" to Vegas (not a garage pass) and it wasn't worth having. Its kind of like a "cold" Bristol pass.

  

If you ever get the opportunity at a hot pass in Bristol I'll give you two tickets just to help out with probably the best Nascar experience you could ever have.

^^^^^  this, have had 1 for the Coca Cola 600 and 1 for a Spring Dega Race.....Nothing in the world compares......Know 2 people that work for HMS, used to go every year to the 600 on mem. weekend, but now with kids, wife, etc.....doesn't happen anymore. Used to have the hookup big time for the 600 weekend, private tour of HMS, plus the family lived near the track, so always had a place to go to watch Indy 500, drink ,eat and than head over to the track....Some great times for sure.

each team is alotted only so many passes from nascar, think it was like 5 or 7 per team (at least a few yrs ago), so you definately need to know someone, or know someone who knows someone. You won't find them on Ebay or Stubhub for sure.

Back in 1998 my friend, who works for Shell Chemical, got passes  (I forget what they were called) at Charlotte, to those villa hut pass area. Shell sponsered Bobby Labonte at the time in the Interstate Car and we had breakfast with him and Joe Gibbs. Bobby was super nice and Joe was nice but he acted like he wanted to be somewhere else. I walked around and met Jeff Burton. I remember David Green was driving for Caterpillar and all they were coming into Shells tent to meet Bobby but when we went to their tent they were asses and wouldn't let us in. DuPont had a fence built around their area but Gordon was up on a podium so I got to see him.

I couldn't even get her to go get his damn autograph for me. I had to talk her into it.

While she was getting his autograph Jr slipped by and she missed getting his.

Needless to say it wasn't a pleasant ride back Lol!!

tree- wanted to wish you GL in Freamers survivor contest this weekend.  Coming down the stretch and were still in it.  Took the 29 this weekend.
