I lost alot of respect(again) for Cousin Carl.

A couple of years ago in a Nationwide race at Michigan that I saw live he almost took Jr's arm off while waving to the crowd after he won the race but Edwards claimed that Jr cut him off. He then had a confrontation with JR in the winners circle which was very uncool.

Maybe Carl should go to some anger management classes.

You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.

Really uncool by Carl and it's not even like he was blatantly dumped by Brad earlier in the race, Carl came down so fast, there was little Brad could even do to prevent getting into his car.  As Brad said, he tried to lift, but there wasn't enough time.

Carl is a douche, pure and simple. Brad was having the best race of his young career, and Carl was mad and 156 laps down and made a really bonehead move.

I hope NASCAR parks him for the next race or take points or something significant. Frickin dirt bag.

1.I've been thinking that Carl Edwards was a real tool after he was scheduled to run the entire Nationwide series again this year. The guy is such a corporate puppet.

    2. I was telling my dad today about how I'm really starting to come around to Keselowski this year. I like how he's pretty much a rookie, but he isn't taking shit from anyone because he knows he's a good driver.

    3. Kez did not do anything wrong on their first caution. Then, 150 laps later, Edwards comes out with a hacked up racecar and puts the #12 on its roof after missing several times on the previous lap.

    4. Carl Edwards is a tool.

Wow, I didn't know Carl had been trying to wreck him a couple times the previous lap as well.

He should be made an example of; take a lot of points, hefty fine, maybe even park him one race.

The S.O.B costs me money today with his personal vendetta.  I can understand where he was coming from, but when I lose money on bullshit like that, I get pissed.  I had Kahne to beat Kenseth and would have done so if not for all that crap.

Yeah that was very fucked up what Carl did (and tried to do right before the successful one).

Taking points doesn't do a thing. One race suspensions should do the job. In this case he was trying to wreck him for a few laps. Not good.

the only thing that nascar can do so that this never happens again is to suspend him for Bristol....anything less than that and it will happen again.

That was very bush league of Carl to do that, especially at that track, he is very lucky that Kez didn't get killed....that was 1 scary crash. The incident in the beginning was not on purpose and was pretty much a racing deal, but for him to come back 150 laps down and pull that deserves at a min. 1 race suspension.

I got home just in time to catch this.Edwards needs to be suspended at least 1 race.Nascar did it to Harvick a few years back for a truck race incident and sat him on Sunday

As Shooter said if not others will do the same and eventually someones gonna get hurt bad

I agree completely with the suspension.  Honestly should be 2 or 3 races in my opinion, but 1 would most likely get the point across.

It's just ridiculous that you could see his arms turn to the right through his windshield.

This is hilarious. Carl Edwards on his facebook page:

"My options: Considering that Brad wrecks me with no regard for anyones safety or hard work, should I: A-Keep letting him wreck me? B-Confront him after the race? C-Wait til bristol and collect other cars? or D-Take care of it now? I want to be clear that I was surprised at his flight and very relieved when he walked aw...ay. Every person has to decide what code they want to live by and hopefully this explains mine."

A - From what I can tell, this is twice where Edwards has wrecked himself with Keselowski's car. ('Dega, Atl)

B - Yea! You know, after the race would be a great time to confront someone. I don't really understand why this is glanced over. At the very least, hit him somewhere but the trioval. If anyone should know about cars taking off towards the grandstands in the trioval...

    C. Sure. Take it to Bristol. While you're still going to be a cocksucker if you wreck a guy for simply holding his line at the Atlanta race, at least make sure he's not going onto his roof.

D - I'm not sure what "take care of it now" means, but if it means calling Keselowski or something... sure. That's fine.

I think its fair to say he's the bully on and off the track as well.

Lets be honest, he's physically imposing as well and I bet he tries to impose that tough guy image to the guys trackside.

Pretty safe to say he'd kick everybodys ass out their in a street fight with the exception of Mark M. who IS a real badass.

what a fucken joke, a 3 race probation, you might as well of given him a slap on his hand and sent him to his room....that would have been more of a punishment.

They dropped the ball here, big time....at least suspend him for the nationwide race, or a fine...but nothing at all.

So next time someone gets knocked out early, good chance we will see the driver come back out just to take care of business...I mean the guy was 150 + laps down, his main purpose was to come back out to wreck Brad, and than thumbs his nose to nascar when they tell him to park it by driving down pit road the wrong way also.....

vegas, I guess they really meant it when they said "Have at it boys", unfortunetly, they needed to draw a line, and wrecking someone while being down 150+ laps on 1 of the fastest tracks that they race on was a huge mistake, hopefully no one dies this year.

Next 2 races should be fun, I know if i get spun early and have damage, you can bet your ass I would be fixing the car to come back out and exact revenge.
