Stewart Haas has had trouble with this years tire compound and concrete surfaces.  11 and mainly the 48 were strong in spring as usual.  Circumstances got the best of both

mcmurray  early has been my only early play!!!    thinking 11,18 ,and 48 will b my solid plays 2 win!!  hope carl runs in 2 trouble early!!!

Rescheduled practice to 8:30 this morning. That`s not going to happen! I came heavy downpours here last night and It just now stopped raining.Radar map has the rain moving out but it is still very overcast and a cold  36 degrees. They have qualifying set for 12:00 today but I think they will move practice in that slot and set line up with that practice.

Practice could be a key because Goodyear has bought a new softer tire which was tested in August with the 88,2,31 and 6. Jr said "this is the best tire that they have ever made".

Terrible call by NASCAR to set the starting lineup by points.

The forecast is favorable for the rest of the day, they could have dried the track and pushed the start of the truck race back an hour or so. Even if they just ran a one hour practice session and then set the field by practice speeds it would have been better than giving the #99 tand the #17 the huge advantage of starting from the front row on a track that they both struggle with.

Fucking hate that bullshit with starting the field from points.....I hope those 2 Rousch cars wreck each other on the 1st lap.

 Was thinking the same thing.

They both try to lead lap 1 and going into turn 3 they take each other out.

its a 500 lap race   dont think with matt and carl starting 1,2    either will finish in the top 15       need great runs out of smoke and kyle 2 make this chase very interesting with 3 races to go

should be a fun race to watch.  I don't think we see Carl and Matt too aggressive with all the laps in this race so.

per jack whoever leads the 1st lap has got 2 let there teammate lead the 2nd  so each can get the 1 bonus point!!!!!!  maybe brad will get up there and have something 2 say about that

 That was the definition of karma for the #17 but I was looking forward to what the #83 had in mind for him.
