SERPENTINE STYLE of DRAFTING, (the #1 pick will get the final #10 pick, #2 gets #9, #3 gets #8, #4 gets #7, and #5 gets the #6 pick.)
ONLY 1 WAIVER, (for the season, you can select one undrafted driver, for a total of 3 in your racing stable.)
WINNER TAKE ALL, (only the owner who selects the 2011 Sprint Cup Champion will win all the cash.)
JIMMY JOHNSON ANTE RULE, (1st pick in the draft pays $220 in ante. Pick #2, #3, and #4 pay $200. And the 5th pick pays $180. Winner gets $1,000)
REFUND of ANTE, (if the eventual champion wasn't drafted or picked up on waivers.)
I'd like to get one, maybe two, fellow Covers followers involved in this pool. Should be exciting with NASCAR about to announce a new points system; letting 10 drivers into the Chase and an additional 2 drivers who accumulate the most wins. It's 9 months of action for $200. Pool will be run with the utmost honesty and integrity, as I'd like to do this beyond 2011. Very simple format, just draft the champion. So, PM me or post on this thread if you have any questions. (I will be attending the Daytona 500 and Bristol night race.)

5 OWNERS, (as of now, we have two.)

How will the draft order be determined? Can the 3rd driver only be added after you drop an original pick, or will there be an order set for that selection as well?

Thanks for the question, wolf_17. The draft order will be set at random. If it's just us local guys here in Ohio, we will select ping pong balls out of a purple Crown Royale bag. If someone like yourself, who couldn't make the draft, is participating, it will be done randomly online. For instance, I could create a thread in the General Discussion forum. Instructing a random arbitrary person to arrange numbers for the purpose of a draft. In regards to the 3rd driver, consider it to be used as a free agent pickup. It is a "first come, first served" claim of a driver, with the timestamp on your text or email acting as your receipt. There would be no need to drop a driver, as you would now have a total of three drivers in your stable. So, you only get one free agent pickup and can use it anytime; preseason, inrace, or months later closer to the Chase. Thanks again, let me know if you need me to elaborate more or have anymore questions.
