2 of my buddies leave today for 10 days in Daytona. I'm jealous as all hell but not able to go.

I have never been to a super speedway but thats only because I think the best seat for that kind of race is on the couch in front of the big screen. Am I missing out fellas?
Been to tons of 1/2 and 1 1/2 races just no desire to go to the big tracks

IMO, I think its awesome....Have been to Dega at least 4 times and been going to Daytona since 1996. It is alot different than a short track or cookie cutter for sure...my oldest daughter made her 1st race there when she was 2 for the Duels, got her on tv and everything....she loves going out there still, hopefully I will be taking her on thursday. You have to go at least once, put it on your bucket list for sure.

Yea let me know, ill be there, I hear ya about the traffic. What a bitch that is, I have been selling my 500 tickets since my dad passed away to a trip & tour company out of DC that does big sporting events (quick double up)...only took 15+ years to get seats in the Winston/Sprint Tower.

I live 10 minutes from the Atlanta track and we have Tiki Bus we set up 5 days before the race (not in the infield). But we set up a big screen at our tailgate site right on the main drag. Nothing beats that kind of set up. Watching all the action on tv and listening to them live and smoking your own meat and driking a few frosty adult beverages.
