Shooter, very nice start. I'll be on RCR and Kyle myself in some fashion on Sunday. What are your thoughts about the potential HMS Axle problems? Are they something we should fade?
Earnhardt's crew chief, Lance McGrew, said the axle of race winner Jimmie Johnson was about six laps from breaking and that issues were discovered on other HMS cars during Saturday's final practice. McGrew told ESPN.com on Tuesday. "I'm sweating this weekend along with Atlanta, which is historically really bad on axles. He said the problem first surfaced during Saturday's final practice when the left rear axle on Mark Martin's car, which shares a shop with the Earnhardts, looked "really bad." "Ours wore out and [Johnson] barely finished the race," McGrew said. "There's no smoking gun, which is aggravating for us. But we'll get to the bottom of it."

wow goggles, didn't know about that......real good info there , interesting for him to say that this track would be hard on axles, could understand atlanta, but LV....Definately something to keep an eye on.

I'm going to wait and see how the RCR cars do this weekend before I would jump on that bandwagon. I would agree about the HMS cars and the axle issues.

just some small plays for a little action for tomm.... On Kyle even though Kurt has the better avg. start the last 5 yrs., but Kyle has been on the pole the last 2 straight. Biff is a value play, Edwards has a 4 position advantage in starts here the last 5 yrs. and qualified 2nd last yr. Harvick has slight edge over jamie, but the last 2 yrs has easily out performed jamie here, ( and even the #1 car also)

Qualifying Matchups
Kyle over Kurt -115 .25 unit
Biff over Kahne +145 .25 unit
Edwards over Burton +100 .25 unit
Harvick over mcmurray -125 .25 unit
