I'm curious to hear what a Bulls fan thinks about the game at Beantown tomorrow?
Hey Baker,
If I had to guess a line I would say Celtics -6.5. Problem is Rose will be out, Lucas has to go the distance against one of the best defending PG's in Rondo. Boozer and Noah have combined for 8 points 10 rebounds in the last two games which is very concerning. Bulls have already played a ton of games this week, even the beat reporters are worn out. The Celtics have had a very favorable schedule coming into this game and should have fairly fresh legs. Only reason I don't see this line being higher than 6.5 for the Celtics is the Bulls depth and the defensive nature of these two teams. Concerns for the Celtics would be Pierce being pretty out of shape and lack of scoring off the bench. I think if you can grab the Celtics at anything around -5 to -8 you have a play.
Do you share those sentiments?

I think the Celtics will cover tomorrow no matter what the line is.
However they play the following day, against Indiana I think. And that's when you bet against them as they are atrocious ATS in b2b settings. Over the past 2 years (this season so far and last) , they fail to cover 93% of the time in those spots

It's tough to say the Celts are badly overrated and have not been playing good ball. If Rose is out they'll feel very pressured to win and blow out a good Bulls ball club. With Rose in they won't feel that same pressure and will step up even more to the challenge. Tough call, I don't know if I can lay more than 5 on the Celts against quality teams they just aren't good but a line of like -2 or so against Rose is more enticing.

pierce is bothered by that heal and isn't moving like the old paul pierce. no bench. they miss baby. for kendrick perkins they got nothing (green aortic aneurism).

Raptors +5.5 Celtics +2....I'm assuming the lines makers expect Rose to play. This line makes me scratch my head big time I can't make a play until I know whether he is in or out. Even if he does play, I might still make a play on the Celtics

Pacers were the worst team ATS last year with a 5-16 ATS record: Fact.
Grizzlies were best
thanks. where do you find that stat, btw? i had to scroll through boston's entire season. boston wasn't far behind. they were 7-10 straight up and 5-12 ATS on back to backs last year.
