I have made quite a bit of money from totals. Last year I went 61%, after going 57% the previous year. So I though I may aswell share it with you guys and hopefully get you some winners! I don't make a lot of plays, as I prefer quality over quantity considering my stakes are large.
I'm from Australia, so I will normally post plays around this time (12 hours before the first game) as well as, just before some games.
I haven't had much today, so the only play I have currently is Spurs @ OKC U207.5 (1.952 odds on pinnacle).
Why? (I wont normally do write ups unless I see a big play)
2 heavyweights early in the season, the pop focusing on defence this year especially with Aldridge in the side. Now preseason isn't normally what I go off, however, the highest total in any of spurs preseason game is 197, with an average of 186.5 (a massive 21 less).
Thunder on the other hand had a higher average of 201. Completely due to the fact that they were allowed an average of 108 points per game (incl. 122 against a depleted wolves lineup). I can assure you they will struggle scoring as freely against the Spurs. Furthermore, when looking at the points allowed, they only gave up 96.2 ppg (which is something I will expect in a relatively slow paced game against the Spurs).
Another key factor in this game will be the L-Train - Whether he plays on Durant or Ibaka (most likely), it will be a highly defensive matchup, which will lead to at least 5-10 points less then what would normally happen with these two teams.
Anyway, good luck everyone! Check back here tomorrow and I may have some more tips if I find anything.
Tips so far:

I'd hesitate using the last 3 games for Westbrook to reference todays game. all 3 were without Durant. Pop is a master of gameplanning against 1 guy so to take away westbrook when its just westbrook is one thing to do it tonight is another.
