You are begging NBA to fix games with this kind of BS. Its just the way it is. The nature of sports. Many teams can have good games, many teams can have good seasons, but only the best of the best teams will win titles, that is how professional basketball works my friend, and thats what seperates basketball from so much else. For example, in the NFL we see new teams in the super bowl year after year after year, but when you play best of 7 in basketball its clear that the better team will win in the end because the variance is minimized. Not always - but for the most part

The best player can help his team more in the NBA than any other team sport.  Duncan, MJ, Kobe, Bird, Magic, Isiah Thomas, Shaq, and Hakeem won almost all of those 33 titles.

The Bucks will probably never win another one but we'll always have 1970. They drafted Kareem Abdul Jabbar in 1969 and signed Oscar Robertson in 1970. I guess that is an example of what it takes most of the time. You have to have 2 or 3 "legendary players".

The formula is rather simple. You need stars and there are no David Tyree moments in the NBA. You must beat a team 4 times to be crowned champion. But I foresee change ahead with this CBA. They are trying go parody the league and make it tough to keep great teams intact. Well see if that works but this has always been and always will be a players league.
