Who the hell would be dumb enough to lay that kind of lumber with what we've seen in the last week. Where's the motivation to cover by that many even in a must win type of game?

I like the double digit favorites. I lean towards all of them. I think we're gonna witness some pathetic efforts tonight. Remember the Magic's pitiful performance in Chicago on Monday? Yeah, more of that.

I would agree but I think wizards show up and maybe lose by 8-9

Just 17 days ago, the Clippers suffered one of the most embarrassing losses in their embarrassing franchise's embarrassing history. On a sleepy Sunday afternoon at Staples Center, they led the lowly Kings 94-76 with 5 minutes play. Incredibly, they lost that one 98-97. I recorded the final 5 minutes of that game and will never delete that precious 22 minutes of video. Up until that fateful day, NBA teams this season had been 359-0 when leading by 18 points or more with 5 minutes to play. Indeed, Doc Rivers is a first ballot Hall of Shame coach. Now it could be argued that the Clippers don't really care about that game anymore, but I think they do. That 1-point loss was so ridiculous that I think the Clips will feel the need to put the Kings back in their place even though the whole world already knows the Kings suck. And wouldn't it be so Clippers of the Clippers to face five teams in a row that were hardly trying their best, beat them all by double digits, and then - BAM! - lose Game 1 of their first round series? Sure it would!

I'm going with at least three double-digit favorites tonight - the Bulls -14, the Heat -11, and the Clippers -15.5.
Are the Clips playing for anything? I see Utah goes about 1.5 hours before them. I'm guessing if Utah is winning the Clips must win for that home court advantage, is that correct? I see SA resting players as this game is meaningless to them I think.

But if Utah is losing or looking like they are losing to the Spurs, Clips will rest everyone and could even lose to the Kings. As the game won't matter. Most likely they show up in the first half either way.

The double-digit favorite I like the least is the Celtics. Those softies have failed to cover their last six games at home and even a 24-point lead over the Nets wasn't enough to cover -10.5. Also, my current favorite "handicapper" here in the NBA forum is big on the Celtics -13.5 tonight so that's a warning sign not to be ignored.
