I think he meant that before the game started it truly was a toss up. Nobody is surprised the Heat won by 28, but I don't think too many people would have been surprised if the Cavs covered either.

ehhh 2-1 anyways. Still ended up winning $140. Gotta pick up the pace though and have a couple 2-0 and 3-0 days.

also aiming for a perfect night tonight!!

never ever do i 'chase' my losses.. but when phi -3.5 was being offered last night when they were up 3.. i fired away like a bear was charging at me!!!

2-1 yesterday won $140

Today's Wagers:

76ers +6 for $320 - No Joe Johnson will hurt Atlanta and recently the hawks have been playing pretty poor anyways. Seems they like jumping to big leads and then blowing their cover. Gotta go with the team i feel is hotter right now.

Bulls +5.5 for $280 - The bulls are not at full strength until Boozer plays with them a couple more games. Then they will be a team to be reckoned with. I feel like rose plays better on espn/tnt games. He likes the spotlight and always proves to prevail when his team is struggling. I like the bulls straight up tonight just can't pull the trigger yet.

Jazz -3.5 for $220 - The Jazz are playing at a higher level than almost anyone right now in the league. With the emergence of Milsap and that combined with Jefferson it proves to be lethal. Not to mention a red hot Derron Williams who has become a top 4 point guard in the league and will continue to grow. The mavs are a good team but they will be in for somewhat of a challenge they haven't had in their last few games, and that's playing a team with a winning record. Don't be surprised if the Mavs come out sluggish.

Now that game could have gone either way.  If it wasn't for a 3rd-down conversion on 3rd-19, Philadelphia probably wouldn't covered. 

Whatever though.

A 7.5-point spread is a big one by NFL standards. The modern age of parity has brought truth to the old cliche' about "any given Sunday." There are times, however, when it becomes obvious that the parity rule does not apply. Tonight's game between the Eagles and Texans is one of those situations. When it comes to yards allowed, the Texans pass defense is one of the worst in the NFL.
For example, check out these stats racked up against the Texans this season:
Donovan McNabb, 426 yards and a touchdown
Brad Gradkowski, 278 yards and two touchdowns
David Garrard, 342 yards and two touchdowns
The Texans pass defense is more absorbent and porous than Spongebob Squarepants.
To the Texans credit, they held the Titans' Rusty Smith to under 200-yards passing, but Michael Vick is not Rusty Smith. Did you see the pass Vick fired between two Bears defenders to Brent Celek for a touchdown at the end of the Eagles' loss to the Bears?
Vick should be able to light up DBs like this all day against the Texans whether the receivers are double covered or not.
Look for Vick to get back to his Superman ways as the Texans are not the Giants or the Bears.
The lines vary between +7.5 and +9 for the Eagles, but it doesn't really matter. The Texans will drop to the deck and flop like a fish tonight.
If you have any doubts, just think back to the Redskins game.
