5dimes is suspending all US customers by 9/25. Anybody know what this is about?
I have an active parlay open now i have to rush to fill it because they are suspending all US accounts in 2 weeks(they won't even tell me why this is happening). Going to cash out with bitcoin. Can you recommend me another book to use? I'm in Georgia, US and I can't use fanduel or draftkings(only works in Jersey and a few states). I need another book similar to 5dimes that accepts US Customers. I don't like bovada. They still owe me money.

There really is no good explanation for why they could be doing this so quickly. They are trying to close out one half-step short of an exit scheme. This will allow them to swallow up 100% of the accounts of people who aren't active (and hence won't even know until it's too late). It will also allow them to pay off active accounts, most of which have parlays, futures or other bets with substantial equity and/or settle dates after late September, all at a small fraction of their actual value.
Maybe they really do have some plan to reorganize and reopen. Maybe they don't. Regardless, the implication that they are hurriedly shutting down after 25 years to "take advantage of new opportunities" is just BS smoke screen to avoid excessive panic and possible financial pushback from sportsbook regulators in C.R., fraud lawsuits in the States, or through other mechanisms. Take what you can.
I will say that, despite this sad ending, 5dimes has been the best book for U.S. customers throughout its rein. They had a good run. Good luck finding another sportsbook that will be as trustworthy for as long. For U.S. players, I know of none.

Some of you are too addicted to gambling that you haven't been paying attention to what's going on in the US. The Military is about to be on the streets going door to door to vaccinate its citizens. The US is about to crash and civil unrest is coming in Oct or Nov. Get prepared!

Q. Is 5Dimes closing permanently for U.S. players? If not, are there plans to come back to the U.S. market and when approximately?
A. No, we will be back, better than ever and hopefully very soon!

5dimes is going legit. Probably because the states are legalizing sports gambling. Once it happens 5dimes will lose all of the business in the states. So if you can’t beat em, you join them. They also sent everyone an email saying empty your account before the 21st. To be legit they need to start all over again. There is nothing shady about it. Because honestly they could’ve took all your money and closed shop without even telling you and you wouldn’t have been able to do anything. I’m guessing they are partnering with a casino. I’m kinda happy for them. They always treated me well and probably one of the best books with the most options out there.

Hope you're correct. I prefer 5Dimes, and will quit betting till they come back. They have everything I want, and need. Can't find another book like them.
