Hey JLB, appreciate everything you do for this forum. I have spent many hours over the last few days checking out your thread. I'm looking to jump on board starting tonight.
I did have one question about money management. As you mention, this is key and I just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. I was planning on playing all games for the same amount, about 2% of my bankroll. Do you adjust your record based on the strength of the play? For example, if a hammer play wins, do you add 5 to the win column whereas a small play that wins you would only add 3 to your record. From what I can tell, the record treats all games as the same value. Please confirm this is the case.
Thanks again for all of your contributions and I look forward to jumping on board! Do you do this for NCAAB as well?
Yes I bet the same amount regardless on Large, med, Small and ML plays.....however with that said....I do throw an extra bone or 2 out of my normal wagers on my Hammer plays......Its ok every now and then and still provides sound money management....it still gambling right?? sometimes you just have to stick your balls out their and catch the big fish......that said, as long as your not dumping more then 30% of your bankroll on one play you will be fine....

Hey everyone,
I know most of you want me to post early.....But 6 am is crazy......I have to run numbers on things and make sure injuries are as up to date as possible....Those of you who follow that are required to bet thru a local and have to have the bet in 12 hours before game time is absolutley rediculous.....That is just not how this should work.....And is why I have stopped betting thru locals a year ago.....they always set the odds in their favor.....it's never an honest bet.....My advice is especially those of you who live outside of the U.S. is to invest in a reputable online book and learn all you can about them, deposit methods, payouts, transactions,. Most online books require you to verify your identity thru multiple resources before you can make a pay-out. but it is well worth it guys....bet when you want....how you want...and right up to game time or when the line first comes out....its all up to you.....Local bookies make their living off the ignorance's of bettors......besides once you start winning and winning big most locals stop taking your bets anyways.....they only care about themselves.....its a one-sided relationship......If it wasn't for the U.S. crazy laws, online sports wagering would be the only option for U.S. bettors....But these stupid laws are what keeps locals in business.....and keeps them corrupt......Just trust me those of you who still use locals......get away and stay away, and research some on-line books.....I won't recommend any because I don't endorse them. Choose for yourself. It will be the best investment in sports gambling that you could ever make for yourself.
I hear what youre saying about local books but 90% of them have converted to an online database where you have the same access as the online books but dont have to deposit .. i dont think there is a reason at all not to have a credit line if a player can be a grown man and pay his debts...

A nice 3 teamer would be Nets, Cavs, Bobcats....Just mho though....I hate parlays and teasers, I only do them once in a blue moon.....like last night in NFL when I was sure the over would coincide with the blow-out of Denver.....I got the blow out part right but the OVER failed to cover by 1 as you already know....Teasers are same....I actually hate teasers more then parlays because they lose on a tie/push.....fuck it....straight bets are my bread n butter, and yours too.....But every now n then....sure....just dont wager a ton on it

Exactly, Not even worth the extra money bag because I dont want it to mis lead people into thinking I am unloading my bankroll on my hammer plays......That would certainly go against my philosophy of strict money management.....so a If a large play is say $100 to you as a bettor....a Hammer play could be $150, or half of your large wager combined with your usual large

I know what this is and i still don't care....they use an online sytem called bookie market......add that to your url with www and dot com and you will see what I mean.....It is an online site that lets the user play as if it was an online sports book......but the bookie still has to pay when they lose....and they DONT.....
No joke......a buddy and I were using a system like this a year and a half ago thru a guy that we knew and trusted. he wasnt the bookie but he was the agent for the bookie...and he barley knew them......We were up over $39,000 in 3 weeks and he shut us down and didnt pay.....it was an absolute joke.....we never deposited money and started out a $5000 credit limit that he gave us.....and we turned it into that much in a few weeks and he just shut it down and no one knew of him...the agent only had his phone number and didnt know where he lived....I will copy paste the amount we were up if i can....it was the most craziest thing I have ever seen in my life.....Locals should burn in hell for all I care....thats how I see it....they cannot cut it in this game

JLB, I was wondering if there were any threads from you that explain your system. Not that I would expect to know the details by any means, I was just wondering if you ever had provided a summary for the basis of the system. If not, I completely understand and respect that decision.
