This line is small because Embiid is out for only the 2nd game and oddsmakers havnt correctly accounted for his loss yet, so were seeing a small number here. Charlotte played yesterday in a game where most of their players including Kemba Walker didnt seem interested now that they have been statistically eliminated from playoff contention. As home dogs this year, Charlotte is only 1-7 ATS and at home games vs teams above .500 Charlotte is 6-12 ATS. Philli should have no problem taking care of business in Charlotte this afternoon

Oklahoma City has lost 3 straight and 4 of its last 5 games, granted all the losses were to quality teams it still is not a good outlook for the Thunder. The Pelicans are also on a 3 game losing streak, against 3 quality teams as well, but have a slight advantage here playing on their home court. New Orleans have won both matchups with the Thunder this year by 7 and 14 points respectively, and while Steven Adams is a good defender he is really gonna have his hands full with Anthony Davis in the paint. I like the Pelicans to take the season series tonight and come away with an outright win. Take the points at home

DEN -4

Milwaukee is in the middle of a western roadtrip and have come away with 2 of their first 3 wins against GSW and LAL, and losing to the Clippers. The Clippers loss was by 7 points, and that team is in the exact same position as Denver both 2 games out of the 8th and final playoff spot in the west. There isnt too many games left in the season and if Denver wants to make the playoffs this is a must win game. Milwaukee on the other hand is comfortably sitting in the 7th spot in the heat a half game back and the pistons 5.5 games back, essentially elimated from contention. Denver as a home favorite has an average margin of victory at +7ppg and this game should finish 7 or higher. Lay the points at home

May add more picks later if the Hou/SA spread is worth hitting or if some injury questions clear up

They're such pus.sies.  What a poorly-coached, gutless group this is.  Those numbers say a lot.  I took the Hornets +5.5 at home against the Warriors way back on December 6th.  The Hornets fell behind by 8 after one quarter.  By halftime they were down by 15.  Game was over.  They lost 101-87.  They were scared of the champs.  Just scared of 'em..

Spurs have won their last 8 home games and still very much fighting for a playoff spot, only 1 game out of 8th place while the Rockets just clinched home court throughout the playoffs with Toronto's loss to Boston last night. Chris Paul is out again for the Rockets and Nene is questionable, while the spurs have no one besides Kawhai on their injury report. Houston has won all three contests this season and in a triple revenge situation at home i like the spurs to win outright

Both Minnesota and Utah are fighting for a playoff spot and the Jazz currently are .5 game back from the Timberwolves who sit in the 5th spot. The Jazz have the best defense in the league with Rudy Gobert back and with Jimmy Butler out KAT is their best player. Kat needed to drop 56 against Atlanta the other night to get the win by 12, but he will be lucky to get 20 points against a stout Gobert tonight. In a playoff setting in Minnesota, i feel the injuries are really going to hurt, as jeff teague is also questionable with an unkown injury and derrick rose is doubtful. Lay the small number on the road
