3-1 on the night (Pistons, Celtics and Rockets all covered) and we hit our big play, though we had to sweat out the ending. Rockets had the lead and were covering for the entire game, so it would been a real moose had we lost. Leonard had to play out of his mind for the Spurs to have chance and by god he did. How he did it after playing in two OT games where he played 84 minutes, I do not know. The guy is superhuman 38 points on 12/18 shooting (just amazing) and the Spurs needed everyone one of those points to pull out the game. But that is why we bet the +4 and not the ML, because as my friend Stee taught me, you never bet against (or count out) the Spurs:)
We got unlucky with the Nuggets as Denver was up by 19 with 5:30 to play and they did not cover, winning by 12. Jokic was ruled out due to illness (which also hurt us) and the line went down to 10, but when I recommended the play it was -12.5. Hopefully some of you got it at less than 12.
I will be taking a break for a while because I have been capping too much. I like the Thunder tomorrow but would have liked them a lot more if the Blazers had played tonight. The oddsmakers had this line open at -6 with a back-to-back in mind for the Blazers. But that game got canceled. So that line should go down. If it does not, it means they are screwing OKC backers, and I don't like getting screwed.
Good Luck!

Thanks for posting BB! I tailed and made some good coin. Hopefully your break is short
Same here.
Thanks again for the Rockets pick! It was a horrible spot for SA and they should've withered. But Kawhi is such an amazing player. It's amazing how the Spurs have found their superstars. I've always been a believer that talent is more important than development but I'm starting to wonder whether Parker, Ginobili and of course Kawhi, would've developed as much in any other organization. Each of them were non-top 5 players that achieved far greater success than their draft slot.

He really is. I can't think of another player that could have played the way he did last night (on both sides of the ball). Here is what Pop said:
Leonard scored 39 points, including 17 in the final quarter, and made big plays on both ends in the final 30 seconds as the Spurs rallied for a 112-110 victory over the Rockets on Monday night.
"Kawhi wanted it badly, and he went and took it," San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich said.
Leonard outscored Harden 17-4 in the final quarter as the Spurs won their eighth straight.
Harden finished with 39 points and 12 assists in the final matchup of the season between the intrastate rivals.
Harden hit one of two free throws to give Houston a 108-107 lead with 39.7 seconds, but Leonard followed with a 3-pointer over Nene 14 seconds later for a 110-108 advantage. Leonard then blocked Harden's layup attempt from behind, pinning the attempt on the glass with 18.9 seconds remaining.
"I saw him get an easy lane to the basket and just tried to chase him down and time the layup," Leonard said. "David Lee did a good job of not letting him really get athletic and just keeping a body and (going up) just straight. It let me get the ball."
Leonard added a pair of free throws for a 112-108 lead with 14.5 seconds left to give San Antonio's its third win in four games against Houston this season.
"The block is what makes him special," Popovich said. "Obviously, the 3, you know, Harden makes 3s, Kawhi makes 3s, Steph Curry makes 3s. Everybody does that. But I don't know who goes to the other end and does what he does. Not that many people, on a consistent basis, an entire game, game after game."
