LeBron sitting on his bum while the Spurs score... but it's OK, it's LeBron.

At least Yarran got dumped for a game for the same attitude.

Don't call out that play.  Bosh is one of the most notorious floppers in the league.  Tim didn't body slam him ha.  That's called weight room Chis

I'm not sure I understand the logic regarding travelling. The officials did not call travelling. The question then is whether he was fouled, not whether they should let the defender foul because they should have called travelling. What am I missing here ?

I actually think the officiating was ok, maybe the spurs got the benefit of the whistle a little bit, but Duncan clearing out the lane was not a foul, Bosh clearly flopped on that play.

ginobili has to know hes gotta pull up for a jumper there.  The refs aren't calling a foul to decide the championship.  Honestly didn't even look like much of a foul when i saw the replay

Well...no, it was not a body slam. OK. I'll give you that. BUT...This is BASKETBALL, not football. Duncan got underneath Bosh and then leaned into him forcefully. In basketball, this is an offensive foul. In the regular season, this is called 10 times a game. I don't know why they let so much of this go tonight, but a lot of fouls were not called. If these refs tried to do some of the Knicks/Pistons games from the days of old (Lambier) and let the guys play like this????.....well, I think that would have been a 12 on 12 full scale World Wide Wrestling event!

And imagine how awesome it would be?  Basketball back in the days of the Bad Boys, Jordan's Bulls, Bird's Celtics, Magic's Lakers, Ewing's Knicks, Barkley's Sixers.......WOWOWOWOWOWOW.  Best era of NBA EVER.

I remember the exact same play, with KG doing the same thing as Duncan to atlanta hawks player during the season, which led to an easy Terry layup....it was called a foul, and it was in a critical situation of the game AND it was not even as bad as Duncans....so I see your point there.

But Bosh has been flopping quite a bit in these playoffs, and I think the refs are not giving him the benefit of the doubt or laying it on him. Miami at home always gets better officiating than tonight I don't know why people are complaining lol.

Yep. During the regular season, they call this type of foul even at the top of the key with minor contact (which I do not like). The refs have a tough job, but they missed a lot in this game. If the game was called correctly, I think the Heat cover the 7.

btw HOH, I don't mean you when I say "people complaining", I know you just brought up one play and you are always a good person to have a conversation (open minded)...I just think that Miami is always heavily favoured by the refs at home for obvious reasons but tonight was not one those nights. Take for e.g. the offensive fouls called against Miami (esp the one on James in the post vs Parker)...the other team generally does not get that call in Miami.

I thought the reffing was equally-balanced.  I made this thread because of how the game ended.....and a possible 50/50 non-call, which would definitely get people talking.

I know you just want a discussion. However, your title is misleading and bias. Clearly that just points out that either Manu should be called for a foul or not, and with your first post at laughing at the NBA gives a notion that you think that it the game was rigged.

Regardless, I will chip in on this conversation. If I was the referee of the game, I also wouldn't make a call on that very small contact. Ray Allen was clearly aiming for the ball, and just after that, because of Manu's movements, made him to hack the arm of Manu. 

Also if we want to be very perfect in officiating, Manu travelled, He clearly took 3 steps. It's a turnover, whether Ray Allen has a knife and stabbed Manu while driving, it doesn't matter, it is still a turnover for SA.

Final seconds of big games should be like that. Hence, the Jordan push over Russle. But don't get me wrong, that was a good no-call, final dying seconds and game deciding shots shouldn't be decided by the refs, it should be decided by the players.

One more thing that annoys me.

People want to play Big Boy games, people calls out MIAMI as soft, whiners and floppers. Actually I agree on those, and I am a big MIAMI/LBJ/Wade fan.

But think of it, if what happened to Manu, happened to LeBron on the same occasion, wouldn't people call LeBron a whiny p*ssy and the refs did a good job for a no-call situation because LeBron just plowed his way? Wouldn't they call LBJ a winner of the Golden Globe award for acting on the foul?

People just see what they wanted to see, and my post would prove it. Somebody will comment on just one point of my post and not take it as a whole, but then again I might be wrong.

This was a very awesome game. Spurs have everything on them to win this game, including LeBron gift wrapping it to them. However, they decided to choke away a 5 point lead with 26-30 secs remaining. They missed FTs, forgot to rebound, let duncan off the floor, and didn't fouled Bosh to avoid a game tying 3 (which happened).

Also for the Danny Green part, watch the video and look closely on Tiago Splitter.

If we want games to be called fair, he should be called of for an illegal moving screen. Clearly more blatant than what Joey Crawford called on LBJ during the Pacers series.

And also, J. Crawford doesn't love LeBron, he fouled him out, right?

In rregular seaso parker elbow to lebrons throat would have been flagrant as well.......Danny green was clean as a whistle.....no foul on that block....he tried to do the reggie miller leg kick.

We all know the answer tough to have a championship decided by a foul call.Yes it was a foul if it had been earlier in the game.

 As far as traveling that is rarely called in the nba.


Spurs played well went a bit cold in the 4th and couldn't put the heat away.Had the game won the perfect storm occurred resulting in an overtime session.No excuses for the spurs plenty of chances.

On top of that they get 1 more shot Thursday .

Misleading?  Allen did mug Ginobili.  There was also no call.  Not biased.  Both are true.

Then you read my first post and I'm laughing at the NBA because all the marbles comes down to such a tenuous play and people will be losing there heads over it....like you and your rant.

It will clearly cause discussion. And it has.

This was a just no call. Yes. Allen scrapped him, but the travel had already occured. You can't have your cake and eat it too.



That is completely FALSE. I watched the reply 20 times and he picks up his dribble as he's completing his first step and THEN takes ONLY TWO full steps.
