Good write up and love the info, as a die hard Laker fan I have to interject on your opening sentence regarding the C's. It's easy to say that they would have won IF Perkins suited up. I could say the same thing about the Lakers 2 years earlier. IF Bynum had played in that series it would have been the Lakers bringing home the trophy.

Anyways good insight, and good luck this season.

I also agree with you that Miami won't come out of the East. I disagree however with your estimation of their record. I think theyll be #3 out of the East behind the C's and Orlando. They certainly won't beat either of those teams in the Playoffs, and it will be a while before they begin to click. I look for them to lose 5 or 6 games before the end of November and that's with a heavy home schedule. Wade is not going to be right for a couple more weeks and with Miller out till January they will play far short of expectations. Considering the veteran teams (C's and Orlando) look very strong and are very healthy Miami could be chasing either of those two by 5 or 6 games going into January.
Should be fun to watch.
