I wouldn't feel comfortable backing pacers on a b2b with the whole world assuming a cover for such a small line. Seems too easy to just grab pacers at such a low line. I think line is -3. My view on this game is that you have 2 playoff teams facing off so I'm guessing it's going to have that kinda intensity so I see a very close game through out. I could be way off but just my 2 cents. BOL everyone

What concerns me about this is that nba teams are not dumb. The pacers couldnt have cared any less about that magic game. I was a moron and had magic +15. Things were looking great until the end of the 3rd when the pacers went on this huge run and just knocked the magic right out. It made me realise the pacers were just toying with orlando and broke a sweat for 5 minutes at the end to annihilate them - obviously because they see this atlanta game as more important.

This atlanta ml jumps right out at me and I really want to get on board but it just seems too easy...

There are only so many times a championship level team can go without a road win in certain cities. Atlanta is hardly an intimidating place to play. Nor are they really a good team relative to an awful Eastern conference. Budenholzer will get them to a better stage next year with Horford back.

This is a fool's gold line, imo, to draw in Hawks backers. The well known dismal performances of Indy, in Atlanta, since 2006 are a smokescreen used to set this line low.

Beware Hawks ML and spread backers. Pacers -3 is the right play. Good luck.

That's how i see it mellow. I'm still playing hawks +3 for a super small action play because I can't ignore history and Granger's comment.

I'VE WATCHED EVERY SINGLE ATLANTA GAME THIS YEAR. THE TEAM IS LITERALLY PLAYING IT'S BEST BASKETBALL IN YEARS. 

COACH BUDENHOLZER (FORMER SPUR ASSISTANT) IS AN OFFENSIVE GENIUS. THIS IS NOT THE ATLANTA TEAM YOU'VE SEEN IN YEARS PAST. THE CANCER OF JOE JOHNSON AND MORESO JOSH SMITH IS GONE.

PLAY IT. PLAY IT BIG.

Indy on a B2B.
Indy lost last 12 regular season games played in Atlanta.
Hawks or nothing for me.

You are severely under estimating the talent of this Hawks team. They can ball. And they go and beat up on the west Coast teams as well. Their defense is very solid at home but they can light up the score board as well as anyone in the league. 

I'm big on Indy but Indy has glaring flaws that are starting to show up from last year. They are turn over prone. To the tune of so many turn overs that a good team will beat them. This Hawks team especially at home is good enough to beat Indy if Indy doesn't put together a solid game. As of late Indy has been playing like dogs in this B2B sets. Also, that west coast trip really magnified their flaws with the whole back court and TO thing. The hawks have a serious back court.... and they can and will turn you over at home. They can also run and gun ALA west coast style like Phoenix, Denver, LAC, etc..... Indy can actually run too but they have had some trouble as evident by the beat down PHX gave them.... and like I said they are on a B2B with a rough schedule right now. 

I would take the points and the home team here. I have too much respect for Indy to take the hawks ML. It could come down to a last possession type game. Remember these two teams are VERY VERY familiar with each other and the whole east coast style of play. Atlanta has shown it can win low 80s games or high scoring ones.

It's pretty easy to look like your playing your "best basketball in years" when your schedule is the 5th softest in the NBA and you are in the wretched Eastern conference. All is not what it it seems with this Hawks squad.

mellow wolf's points are correct.  it's the other side of the coin that i appreciate.  my perspective is with prodigy.  that this is an underrated atlanta squad, the one that took OKC to brink 109-111 @ OKC.  I don't think Indian's playing particularly well of late.  As I said, Paul George and Scola aren't playing that well.  They won't have Mahini.  And David West has slightly sprained both ankles over the past week.  btw, that didn't make a difference with Kevin Love @ Atlanta.  He scored 43 in a bum ankle.   Can Indiana put on a performance like they did at Golden State?  I think they're too tired.  We'll see.  Mellow Wolf could be right.

Good post. But the Hawks are not a good defensive team. Mediocre is a more apt characterization. They can "ball", but not with a deeper Indy squad who will likely be more focused than their first meeting. Indy -3 for me. GL.

wow.  read the GeneCam27 post more closely.  Yeh, the Hawks are the Phoenix of the east.  Indy has shown they have a weakness against guard quick share the ball high scoring teams.  defense be damned.  go hawks.  not seattle.
