Boy I sure hope the Lakers lose tonight because I've already begun plotting my next move, which comes Sunday in Orlando when the Magic have a huge revenge game at home vs. the Lakeshow.  And because the Lakers aren't allowed to lose three games in a row, we could potentially get a fantastic number on a Magic team that will be playing possessed.  And I know they haven't forgotten what happened the last time Kobe & company visited Amway Arena, when the Magic watched the Lakers clinch the NBA championship on their home-floor.  I'll never forget the dejected faces of Jameer Nelson and Dwight Howard, who both remained on the Orlando bench afterwards and watched dejectedly as the confetti came streaming down and Kobe celebrated awkwardly with his teammates.  So please god, let's make this happen.

Orlando will have the upcoming Lakers game as their game of the season. Really think if the Lakers are going to avoid a clean sweep they have to win tonight's game

I rather the Lakers win tonight so they don't come into Sunday's game in a situation where they are staring at a duck egg on the current road trip. Hopefully the Magic are only a 1 or 2 point fav.

nbafan88  that was halarious. I can see lakers losing three in a row. I called it Wed night. Lakers have no bench and are on a east coast trip. They will be ready to get back to hollywood ASAP

Well, I have read that CHA matches up well because they have covered 9 of the last 10, but those are VERY different teams. In the only match up that features the CURRENT rosters, LA was coming off an 8 game road trip, which isn't a very good indication that they can play with them. Thus, I don't buy that angle.

That being said, I am sure LA knows who is in front of them and the situation, which means they will probably be "on" tonight after taking the night off last night.

ROD - I agree with your statement (if teams can look ahead and play poorly, teams can look ahead and play well. My statement was toward NBAFAN - sorry for the confusion.

Hey Rod this game is a very good match-up, the Bobcats have lost the last two games and starting to lose their push in the final hunt for the playoff run,at this time they are a game and a half behind 8th. place Miami, on the other side,I think LA will make sure they do everything possible to win the game.

This ex Laker fans says they win tonight. I juiced their ML with the Mavs

Wouldn't be surprised at an over with LA losing in OT last night, but I took the Clippers and Mavs home overs along with the Bucs/Wizards over instead.
