Anyone think Miami covers 8 tomorrow????

I was hoping they wouldnt have covered against the bucks as i would feel more comfortable backing them sunday, but miami rarely covers twice in a row, especially on the road

I like the Raptors. The heat will probably squeeze another win out but I think this one will be close. They also have Boston tomorrow.

The Heat covered 4 straight road games in late February, and they recently covered on back-to-back days in New York and Minnesota.  They're 8-1 ATS on the road since their last visit to Toronto on Super Bowl Sunday.

I woke up this morning thinkin the streak might even end today for Miami, but the more I think about it, the more I like them to cover.  Too many people are thinkin Toronto is a sharp play, but the Raptors suck.  Their only ATS wins at home in the last month+ have been against New Orleans and Charlotte.

I agree!  It's puzzling to see so many bettors trying to beat the Heat today.  This is the city where the 21-game winning streak began.  It's where the Heat and their traveling party hung out afterwards and watched the Super Bowl together six weeks ago, laughing, joking, gambling, and probably having an all-around awesome time.  I DOUBT they'll let Toronto also be the city where the streak ends.  Today they have a chance to tie the 2007-2008 Houston Rockets for the second-longest winning streak of all-time, and if the Heat can do that, they'll position themselves to move past the Rockets with a resounding win in Boston tomorrow night.  Tomorrow night, incidentally, the Heat will have a chance to break a 10-game regular season losing streak in TD Garden (and they will!).  Lots of history for the Heatles to chase.  I wouldn't get in their way.

Yet the public is all over the Heat.. plus the odds on the Raptors are dropping.

That's just an assumption.  Where do you see proof that "the public is all over the Heat"?  They sure aren't around this forum, and this place is as public as anyplace else.

From what I've seen here on covers Miami is the favorable pick. Don't think I'm coming after you guys for picking the Heat.. cause I'm not putting any money on this game. It's just an observation.

The Heat watched the game from a private room inside Real Sports, an upscale sports bar. Shane Battiercalled it “awesome … one of the best team days I had in the NBA, one of the best days I had as a pro, socially with my teammates.”

The decision also clearly pleased LeBron James, who when asked last week about the prospect of missing the Super Bowl, said: “How disgusting is that?”

Wade and Lebron were also back at Real Sports last night to catch the GSP fight, this info really doesn't have much influence on today's game but I thought I'd share
