I’ve always been told, unless some edge, never bet on a game when two bad teams are playing each other.
Well, this game would seem like one that falls into this category.
A lot of people on here I respect and follow are all over Atlanta, and I respect the reasons why... trades, 12 games losing streak, no motivation to play, etc.
but, tonight Minnesota will win. Recently, they have Atlanta’s number. The ones traded are not their blue chip players, won’t have that much affect. Minnesota really has more talent than one would think looking at their record. They have been in a lot of games against solid teams.
also the line is way fishy. -4.5? You would think it would be a PK... especially that everyone is in Atlanta. And I see -5 in some places. . Reverse line movement.
medium bet Minnesota 1H and full game minus whatever.
As always, thoughts and opinions welcomed and encouraged.

Berting a game bc the other line is fishy is the stupidest reasoning on this site.
Cap this. If u think the RoCo trade hasa huge impact that will positively motivate Minny then pound it. I think the roght line should be Minny -1. Im glad taking those 4.5

Idk the way I look at this game is Atlanta can blow them out or have a chance to backdoor cover the +5. More often than not I don’t see Minny winning by DD. Minnesota is just not playing as a team, you have uncertainty there especially at the trade deadline. No one cares right now in Minnesota. I see Trae and I just see a team I know I expected the line to move a lot more but I took Atlanta +5 none the less I’m not playing the game heavy but dropping 2 units with Atlanta. GL

Why isn’t the line moving then? Literally everyone per VegasInsider and covers etc show the betting public in Atlanta. Yet the line has not moved to indicate such. Which means, sharp money on Minnesota.
I am going against the grain. Minnesota breaks their losing streak tonight.

Check the TWolves stats with Covington on and off court. He has been their top guy so far. Even more of an impact than KAT.
and this is the greatest fucking piece of advice you will find here. Minny was shit with RoCo, who was by far its best player in terms of net points rating. Imagine how much shittier they were going to be the day after trading him.
You are welcome. Now take that and learn. Im giving you a factor to consider on ur capping. U can either try to learn or keep guessing or interpreting line shifts or lack of line shifts.
God bless ME

So true. People keep hearing others talk about line movement and think thats how to cap smh. This isn't the stock market lol. This is betting. The line is the line. Bookies only managing the money coming in with line movement and evening their odds . Sharps are only called sharps because they pay attn to details . Don't mean they right all the time lol. Nobody listen to that advice though.
