Huge win by the Blazers last night to close out the series. Was a beautiful thing to watch. Here's what i'm playing for today.
Atlanta Hawks @ Indiana Pacers
I've said this numerous times throughout this series but the Hawks hate the Pacers more than any other team in the league. The Pacers swept the Hawks in the playoffs last year 4-0, and Atlanta wants nothing more than to return the favor. I was on Pacers in game 6 however: "This is a bad spot for the Hawks, they have a better chance to close it out in Indiana in game 7 in my opinion."
The reason I said that is because the Hawks have waited all season long for a moment like that, to eliminate the Pacers and send them packing. I didn't think they would handle the pressure well at home in front of all there fans in an elimination game against the same team that knocked them out a season ago and in the final 6 minutes of the game, they absolutely folded. The moment was too big for them and they let the Pacers go on a 16-4 run to close out the game. I stand by my argument made in game 6, the Hawks will play much better away from home in a closeout game without the pressure of playing at home in a game they waited for all season long for. I not only expect the Hawks to cover this game, but I think they will have an excellent shot to win straight up as well. The only reason I won't be playing the ML is because the NBA issued three of the most home-friendly refs there is in the business to officiate this game.
Hawks +7 (-120) (3x)
NBA Playoffs: +32.91 units (30-17)
NBA 5+ Unit Plays: 20-5
Pending:
Mavericks - Series Price +160 (2x)

Man I agree with the play LC but those refs were actually enough to spook me away -- I know you won't bet the Clippers game but I would love to know you lean there and also in the Grizz battle

I was planning on playing the Thunder for a couple units solely because they are 0-2 SU after a win this playoff series. I think that's going to help them not only tonight, but going forward in the playoffs to not come out complacent. That's actually going to be huge for them going forward which will be very beneficial. However, this pointspread and all the added injuries and suspensions are making for too many variables. Just gonna watch and enjoy at this point
