ROCKETS AT THUNDER (OKC -2 TOTAL 216  

This is a great spot to take the Rockets here. Houston on a nice 9-2 straight up run right now. I like the way their chemistry is coming along and they are making an active to effort to get Howard involved. 

OKC- the troops are wearing thin. For mr. Westbrook saving energy is not in his DNA. Two subpar games in a row shooting from him and last time vs rockets he was kept in check. Now  with no Ibaka we are looking at another sub par shooting performance from westbrook today. He will be lucky to score as many points as the number of shots he takes.

This one also has the potential to get real ugly as this also fits my blowout formula. Look for houston to have a 20 point plus lead in this one. Also good in game opportunity here as at that point OKC will trim it back to single digits.

This is a strong strong play on the rockets 5 units, Also 1 unit on under 216.5

PACERS -3 VS MIAMI   4unit Play on the Pacers here. Huge lift to get george  back today for the first time all season. Not expecting game changing numbers from him today but its a great emotional lift for the team and the organization. This emotional boost creates a perfect storm as i can not believe the quotes coming out of the Heat locker room anfer that collapse in Detroit yesterday. Team really appears to be taking the loss much harder than they should. Piston coaches were calling it thier best win effort wise of the season. They just took the life out of the heat the last 4 minutes.

Dragovic slowing down from all the minutes he has been logging. His shots have not been falling the last 4-5 games, He is pretty much praying he gets fouled. 

Indiana ready to make a run to the finish and secure a playoff berth along the way. Pacers take this one by double digits. I am real excited about this one.

Looks like I am going to have to make  quick run to the stations book as they still have a 189 on the O/U for the Phil-NY game. Its at 187 at most other places. You can always count on them to be as step slow.

Warriors ... Warriors have proven themselves in the west no debate. But I think we started to see the last couple games minutes were reduced about 10-15 percent and look for that trend to continue. Warriors have come back from large defecits countless times this season. Dont see them being able or willing to do that if they get down here. SPURS over Popovich is by far the best at getting his team to play by far their best basketball of the season this time year every season. He clearly has the edge over Kerr in that regard in the game today. Wow what a train the spurs have been steaming on since March Madness was kicked off. This is big boy basketball today and the Spurs will clearly look to make this a physical affair and will show why they are the world champions and golden state shows why they have not been able to win here.

Take the Spurs solid 3 units

Not the least bit worried about the rocket play today. This games indicators fall into a repeating pattern of results that occurred in games where a team led by more than 18 at some point during the game. One of OKCs few recent wins involved them getting down by 20 to the suns before coming back for a double digit win.

Often times some of the teams vying for the last playoff berth or two know that even if they make it they go up against a monster of a team and will not advance anyway. So here comes the losing streaks to end the season and miss out on the playoff vibe. They are off to enjoy the money and life as well they should. Charlotte and phoenix  are two prime of examples of that and should be faded the rest of the season.

So that win falls short of providing any substance by which to back this team. Falling behind by 20 in that game is of course is another flag.

And as i described I fully expect to see some big leads and big in game lines in this game. Those will swing back the other way as an NBA Televised game as shown to do in the past. So it is the predicted pattern of the scoring in the game that is setting the tone for the whole day not the outcome of the game. I am glad you brought that up because it allowed me spell that out a little better about the tone.

Regardless of the outcome if this game flows as i feel it will then this game and the day will be a huge success. Stay tuned as i will post some in game moves for that game either in this thread or a new one   

Wow the Jazz reallly got screwed last night. That was horrible. I do think that with this team and the effort they have been playing with that they will use that as a rallying point. It gives the coach the perfect opportunity to lend credence to his speech that games should not be left to be deciided like that because if they are then what happened with the bad call then becomes the deciding factor. The strange outcome keeps some value in the line as it is up to Jazz +2.5. In the Nba from game to game the league does a pretty good job of while not being able to alter the outcome of the injustice that occurred they make sure that all carpets are laid out for at the very least a very fairly reffed game.

No reason to get scared of the Jazz here as they are actually playing better than the 3 teams that are vying for the last playoff spot in the west.

Move another unit on the Jazz at +2.5 for a total of 3 units and move 2 more units on the Under 190.5 for a total of 4 units on the under. Sac will have trouble replacing Gays production as he recovers from a bump in the head. Utah wins this  game  and it goes under   

Allright thats the way to start the Sunday. Rockets plus 2 was never really in doubt even though it got close at the end. Game played out just as I thought with the exception of a 67 point 4thQ that cost a 1 unit move on the under 218 to go down.

Nice 5 unit win on the Rockets for a total of +4 units so far on the day. Pacers up next. Do yourself a favor and jump on the rest of the moves.   

Been around the sports book all day here and have not heard one person who is taking the lakers tonight. All the 100 players and parlay betters are on the clippers tonight. On Sunday nights it pays to fade when such a high % of regular betters are all on the same side. I would not be surprised if this was a pirate move on the line by the large betting groups who plan on coming back late with a move on the lakers at plus 14 for a straight movve or wide middle as the overnight was clippers minus 10.5

The effects of back to back games with last nights game being played in DENVER wil have an impact on the game tonight and the lakers are 11-2 Ats after their last 13 su losses. Every regular sports book joe is talking how the lakers have quit and clippers win by 30 tonight. I am not in that club as I feel this is probably the last real game of the season that the Lakers try in and I look for them to keep it inside 10 in this matchup.

These are the games that are fun to be on the opposite side of hundreds of joes in the book. With this game being the last game on the board for NBA expect alot of people who try to make what they think will be an easy score on the clippers to be left holding an empty or much lighter wallet at the end of this one
