I have never and I mean never fu**ing ever checked for updates on my phone and EVERY TIME I CHECKED, the deficit got worse.

That is IT! 74-40. 

This game O V fuc*in E R.

0-3 in the NBA (with a very minor footnote of Chris Paul being a tip-off scratch for Austim Rivers to sink one bet on the Clippers). Otherwise 0-3 is 0-3.

20-10 in last 30 and I can't take these lifeless listless dog it night in night out guaranteed contract players anymore (they gave up 142 to the Kings last night!).

whoops......yea,thats the nba for ya...come prepared with strait-jacket in tow if you wanna bet this league in regular season.......bit late now but earlier i had totally forgotten there was murmurings about player revolt and hornacek being on the way out...definitely shud have been a red flag.if it was in doubt previously i think that putrid showing removes any lingering doubt now.

there is no argument that cud be put forth to try and convince you to keep concentrating on this league....except that football ends soon and there is only hoops and hockey for a while then.

The lemonade is it was over early.       Thanks for Ark.   (I was already on it but doubled up when saw yur write up).  I've seen u and a couple of others do it but I really don't see how u can make money on NBA .

You weighing the lakers loss to the sixers that was almost 2 months ago so heavily on your decision when that game was pretty insignificant not to mention so long ago and outdated, I bet you probably didn't even watch any of that game and know even what happened down the stretch. Spending too much time on outlier stats and focusing on stuff like that is how you tunnel vision. It also shows how you dont really understand the NBA and random stats that well, variance has a big factor in play. You have to be more mindful of recent games and momentum shifts, that's how you get on a team at the start of their win streak for a nice payout.

this thread clearly shows why basketball especially nba is toughest to cap

these so called professionals just DO NOT CARE at a regular basis, even in college players show some life. long season they throw away games purposefully. in a situation like this, you cant cap anything.

Incredibly important advice right here . Teams change on a weekly basis. Lakers were god awful last week with the Clippers beatdown.. last few games they are playing with a ton of energy and confidence. 

Bet on garbage teams, expect garbage results. This never changes. NBA is  hard, and you cant pick and choose when to follow this sport. It will kill you.

People don't like to acknowledge the competitive drive in most of these guys, they didn't make it to the NBA without having passion and drive. Also the intense emotions and pressure going on in these games playing big factors and driving runs. Sometimes players zone in and things go certain ways, one team starts hitting buckets the other is cold confidence is landslided and so is the scoreboard. Pretty soon your team is 3 mins into a quarter already down 12-3 with 9 minutes left, ain't nothing but or a short timeout or commercial break between the crowd roaring and buckets sinking brah. Plus, theres always factor X vtown always wins right?

I'm not perfect, not a prophet, not tending to be one, I did have losses in life, but I'm just trying to look at the NBA from a different angle, and for some reason 99% of the people here seem to be only interested in SIDES - like who's going to win and by how much (spread) - are you here to play a game that is guaranteed going to dig a hole in your pocket, or are you trying to look at the NBA in the same way you look at stock market?

Why keep on doing all this crap to yourself?

There is no human factor in this anymore, it's all made by machines .... 3rd quarter = 67 points, they scored 65 in the entire 1st half!! you think this was by coincidence?

Look at the play by play, how many dunks and layups were scored in the 3Q - this is not about logic anymore, I don't know how to explain it to people in a different way.

The NBA is rigged, whether you like it or not ... you can still profit from it, but you have to stop looking at it in the eyes of the crowd and instead look at it from a trader point of view, as if the lines are stocks you either buy or sell ... !!

Besides my post above about the 3rd quarter ... ask yourself: Is it coincidence 4th quarter in 1 minute they scored 8 points to make the bettors take the "over" in live and get screwed? Is it all coincidence?

Gimme a break if you guys still think the NBA is not rigged ... I'm just tired of arguing with people who don't know how this doesn't make any sense!

It could be refs, coaches, anything ... just read BetRadar.com's document and see how their oddsmakers run the odds in live and they're not the only ones.

There are also many articles in big papers about how the NBA is like stock market nowadays ... but I think I put enough links for reading already.

After reading this entire thread, that is what you get out of it?

I was pointing out what kind of team this is and that is a purposefully tanking team that is playing a guy who on certain nights can't even shoot over 30%, just to serenade him on his way out the door (oh and it solidifies their draft position with a pick they desperately want to keep...how convenient). Byron Scott can be seen in post-game interviews laughing and smirking and reporters poke and pry with questions as to why this is one of the worst lakers teams in the history of their franchise (maybe the worst and that is to be determined).

And you take that as the sole reason for a cap and attribute it to tunnel vision...this from a guy with a sign up date of Dec 2015 and 10 posts.

Yes that poster, here today and gone tomorrow like a fart in the wind, will tell you how to cap people. Even though he's never provided anyone anything on this site, except criticism. And the criticism comes AFTER the game mind you...

Oh just to note, in the OP, I was DOWNGRADING the Lakers WIN OVER THE SIXERS last game, not the LOSS (which I mentioned well after the game was out of hand just to magnify what this team is), in the original cap.

Well ... here is another reason for me not publishing anything here ... in a few hours this thread would be DEAD and no one would look at it anymore ... because everyone would be busy with the next games to bet on ...

That's why I had to document everything I do/did in a separate website ... I do see some long threads here like CrazyMilkMan's but for me it's harder to follow up with that or to send reference to some of the "mid-pages" in that thread.

And I have to type in bold and big letters because otherwise no one pays attention, and if one person gets the right message I would feel blessed from it.

No)"  Other noteworthy info you stated to back your pick besides the 2 posted in this paragraph were; Lakers win at Boston and the suns loss at kings. The Boston game itself was proof that the Lakers are able to make big plays, in the clutch nonetheless. You gave no praise for them beating the Sixers who were on a 2 road game win streak before losing to LA, that streak included a win over the kings 110-105. OH A COMMON OPPONENT BETWEEN THE TEAMS!! SIXERS>KINGS, LA>SIXERS, KINGS> SUNS, BY SIMPLE CONDUCTIVE PROCESS YOU CAN ARGUE LA>SUNS LIKE THEY DID!!
