I am going to say Kwhai already has his mind made up. He isnt going to the Lakers not enough money for him. New York and New Jersey make absolutely no sense to me he doesnt like cold weather. Why leave the Raptors for 2 franchises who are not top 4 in the east. The Bucks the 76ers and Celtics all better. So he can get the most money from the Raptors short or long term deal. The Clippers are the only place he leaves for I think. I can see that because he wants to go home they can give him max money and a chance to contend right away. I just have this feeling he is staying in Toronto on a short deal 3 years 2 plus 1 player option. Either way thank you Khwai Leonard for leading the Raptors and Canada to its first NBA championship without you no way in hell this happens. He doesnt owe the Raptors or the fans anything he has told everyone from day one what he wants. He delivered a NBA title in one year that's just EPIC!

Saying LBJ ruins careers is the one of the dumbest things I have ever read on this site.
Keep the laughing emojis coming.....I think they might be laughing at you and not with you.

[/QuoteI'd be okay with Kawhi going to the Clippers because I followed the franchise in the seventies when they were the Buffalo Braves with Bob McAdoo, and Randy Smith. Besides they haven't won an NBA Championship in 50 years.

Well, maybe he should stay in Toronto and help the Leafs.....besides, they haven't won a Stanley Cup in 50 years!!!

Ladies & Gentleman, we have Lebron James apologists! Now it's a party. To say Lebron kills careers is a little extreme burmt he definitely demands a style of play that smothers other players with star potential. It's fine for washed up veterans and never will be's (you guy's no all the names) bur his iso ball dominant style is both outdated and an inefficient use of talent. Look at both teams that were in finals. Two of the best ball movement teams in the league. Everybody gets the ball. Everybody is put in the position to make the best play. Look at the teams they beat in the conference finals. One guy is gonn hold the ball, you go stand over there and maybe he'll pass it to you. Even the young Lakers showed potential preLebron with a ball movement system under Walton. They almost made the playoffs with no stars and a bunch of kids. Lebron comes in and says, "Nope. That's not what I do."
I know Lebron apologists will say "....but...but...before Lebron got hurt..." What about after he came back?

1. If NO keeps the #4 pick it will be easy for LA and NO to wait for the end of July, thus freeing up cap space for both teams. If this pick is traded it becomes much harder dealing with 3rd team.
2 If Kawhi, Butler, Kemba or Kyrie want in, Davis will waive his trade bonus. If the Laker have to settle for second tier player then he will not.
3. Wagner, Bonga and possibly even Jones can be traded to free up some cap space too.

Golden State had a bad fate this year. No way they were winning that with everything that went down. I even said before game 6 if TOR was to win the series it would be in that game 6. It's not hard to read into the script if you look at all scerarios and go or bet with which one that makes the most sense for the books and the NBA. But Toronto would have never won that series, had Klay been able to play the entire thing. And that's with KD out, GS still would have won that series. Klay going down was the X-factor. GS proved they can win without KD. But they also proved they CANNOT win without Klay.

Although I disagree with warriors being fine if Klay resigned. They need Klay. Look at their record without him. Curry doesnt play well without his splash bro at his side. So please re think what you are saying lol. Klay is their MVP I guess after all. He also has a record that even Steph probably won't ever break (A perfect shooting 37 pt quarter) We know Jordan or Kobe or Johnson or Bird or Will Chamberlin will ever break the record.

We get it Dave. In your mind every title Lebron has comes with an asterisk. In the meantime, the Warriors are now 6th choice to win in 2020 and fading with no guarantees that they ever rise to prominence anytime soon.
