RECAP of the bets posted earlier in the week. This day I took a minor loss, very negligible pretty much broke even on the day and probably ended up overall from grinding bonuses.
I'm sure most of you guys did great this day since you probably hammered the 3 star plays.
Also I normally don't like to bring up sob stories about rough beats but this day was FILLED with them;
OKC blowing a 17 point lead going into the 4th, 61 point 1Q and no clear on the 1h over.
Philly let the hornets go on runs at the end of the 2Q, going from even to blowing +5.5 in the last 4 mins. POR and bucks did the same blowing my 1H lines.
There were few more but i'll leave it at that.
Why do I bring all this up in such detail?
Well, its because if you consider this day you will label it as a "pretty good" day if you account for these tight near misses. I managed to get soured in a third of my games and still managed to get a 50/50 day, a profitable 3 star day.
Its not easy to get a 60% day, or to go 9-3 on big plays like I've done fairly consistantly. Losing days are to be expected, and when you manage to turn your losing day into a 50/50, I'd say you managed to do pretty good :) Even if you consider today as a loss then you still have to give me credit for all strong work I've been doing.
And there lies the problem, where this credit is given and how this site is run. I put a lot of time and work into capping these games, it also takes time writing these post game write ups, AND I lose equity by having my picks being public *marginal but still in the business of capping these small margins make the difference.
