This game is quite interesting. Brazil has a huge size advantage with Varajeo, Nene, & Splitter but the USA team speed on both ends of the court is going to be no match for Brazil. Coack K and the usa squad is going to have a plan to take advantage of Brazil's interior presence...

33 points is a lot but I don't think the USA the team that almost beat them two years ago... and they have a lot to clean up from their game against DR....

I think that Brazil has a great chance of covering this thing because they have to know the only way they stay competitive is by slowing this thing down -- any game that goes OVER is going to strongly favor the US covering the gigantic number here. You have to also figure that Brazil will be the contrarian play which probably also gives you some value.

If I'm Brazil, I'm starting Varajeo and Nene and giving the USA a little dose of what it will see with Gasol/Gasol for Spain. Given the USA's lack of size, Varajeo and Nene should each be getting something like 12+ shots up in this game for Brazil to have any chance to keep it close.

I think I might actually like the UNDER the best here -- Brazil has to keep this game low to have any chance whatsoever.

The more that I think about it, the more I think that Brazil +33 is a ridiculous line. Brazil is nothing like Dominican Republic, they are a much more experienced and talented and deep bunch. Add in the fact that the public just got done seeing Team USA destroy DR and that's fresh in their minds?

I'm going to take Brazil +32.5 (my book moved the line from 33). Good luck to everyone

USA, USA, USA&#xD;&#xA;they are going to try and blow out every team they face to prove they are the better "Dream Team"&#xD;&#xA;they will kick the crap out of Brazil, i dont care if they have Varajao, Splitter and Nene... USA can shoot from the perimeter and are faster and way more athletic...&#xD;&#xA;USA -31.5 here for a hundo....&#xD;&#xA;ill probably take them every game in the Olympics too

Yeah they have the interior advantage... big deal? The usa barely goes inside and will demolish brazil in every other facet of the game except reboundingand Obama will be in attendance apparently so you know the USA team will be giving max effort... the usa can go on 15-0 spurts easily... and i mean very very easily

I don&#x27;t disagree nbafan -- just saying that if I am Brazil&#x27;s coach, I know I can only win a low possession game so I like catching 32.5 points with teams in those types of situations. Also, I think the general public will be all over Team USA given the destruction of DR last time and I think we are catching a few points of value here as a result. I&#x27;d put the "true" line on this game for my evaluation purposes at USA -28.5 or so
