i think they're working to add BlakeGriffin or Drummond as either of those 2 wants out from their current team. So its a great situation for the Nets.

I'll chime in because I can't forget seeing Harden quit in the playoffs. Dude is a total choker and definitely has no heart. I wouldn't be so quick to fire on the Nets. Yes, they will have a great offense but their defense will blow and they'll have no bench. I'm not saying I love betting anyone from the East against them but Harden is a legendary choker. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a more gutless star than him. I've been riding the Nets lately for betting since they're hot but I'm also realistic.

hard to disagree to be fair...alot of love out there for sixers but i just dont see how they keep up over a 7 game series(if it goes that far)..yep,sure embiid will eat as much as he wants and do some serious damage in the box-score and philly might be able to limit the scoring just a tad as the pace slows in the post season and every little detail is scouted and pored over and familiarity builds...but still theres no way to hold this team below 115-ish consistently and how do the sixers get that themselves??
of the other contendors-bucks,celtics,heat etc..well they all have a huuuge talent deficit in my opinion,just too many flaws/shortcomings/holes to have me believe they can combat the firepower of 3 super-duper stars over a full series.......it sucks having money tied up for a long period and of course many things can happen between now and then..but the only thing that probably can sink this bet is major injury/illness to brooklyn.
and not that it moves the needle massively but adding shumpert,roberson and maybe???drummond can shore up their defense a bit...but for sure these dudes just gonna keep outscoring everybody.

I have Nets futures to win the east and finals as well.
They are still undervalued because of the Lbj propaganda machine.
Lakers won last year because there was no superteam to challenge them in a 2-star league. With a healthy AD and the Clips choking along with a fluke run by Miami, the title was gift wrapped to them.
Nets are beating all the best competition despite rarely being at full strength. Harden has unlocked their full potential.
Couldnt agree more with you.

i agree with you 100%,he is one of the worst....BUT you are ignoring the fact that the entire burden of being the SOLE reason for advancement in the playoffs no longer rests with him..he can afford to shrivel,like he always does,and he has 2 other mega stars to pick up the slack and both harden and kyrie are famously BIG-TIME performers that lift their levels in the playoffs..so it will be them that will deliver in those pressure cooker moments at the ends of games....plus not having the whole weight of expectation on him throughout may mean that hardens level might not even drop at all.
if it were still just him alone,or even him and kyrie,i would be staying well clear of any future bet on nets..but there is margin for error here...big margin.

I would never bet a first year superteam to win a ring. However that +160 to win the conference is much better than the +400 the win the finals. The east with the Bucks looking worse this year is nothing. However the West has some big competition. Safer to cash in on the +160 at this point

Agreed conference is the play. Nets D is horrible. That's going to catch up with them eventually

@MakeMoney610
Not necessarily. Theyve taken down full strength Utah, Clipper, Bucks, Sixers squads by getting just enough stops to complement their GOAT level offense. People as always are behind the curve.
