It&#x27;s not who they got but what they got.A good team chemistry and a winning streak. Not saying the Nuggets will win and cover but taking the Nets in this game is a bad play, imo. GL.

Keep in mind too that nuggets are at the start of a 6 game road trip with cleveland on a b2b the following day then 1 day rest then 2 more b2b games.

So based on that, what will their motivation be? I think if the nets have a lead in the 4th, denver might pack it in for the night. They would not want to put their players through a tough game at the start of this gruelling schedule.

I dont know what you guys think of this but nets seem to be in a good spot here - theyve also lost their last 4 home games so they desperately need a win at home. Lopez being back should help them too.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^,yep against the run,n,shoot nuggets a team can do with as few grand-fathers on walking frames as possible...plus one less out-sized ego to cater to,pierce not even a factor.

ugly scene,dont really wanna touch the nets but feel like vegas is playing too smart 4 its own good.....one that feels so wrong it must be right.

with blatche,lopez and garnett on the frontline they cud get sumthing done against the weak interior of the nuggets and add in joe johnson,livingston and anderson and nets dont give up much of an edge at all in roster talent 2 the mix'n'match nuggets......their obvious problem still remains chemistry and confidence(and a competent coach)

It is a meeting between a cold and a hot team. The Nets start for the season has been horrific. They are 5-12, which is really bad considering their star filled roster, they will be better, but it just takes time until they will put all the pieces together and start playing like they are supposed to. With the injuries slowing them down it wont happen soon though. Brooklyn beat the Grizzlies 3 nights ago, but Memphis played without Randolph and Gasol other than that it has looked really bad for the Nets with losses mainly by double digit margins. Deron Williams, Jason Terry and Paul Pierce are still out with injuries and those are huge pieces missing from the Nets lineup.

Denver on the other hand has been playing great lately. They have won 6 games in a row and have a record of 10-6. Fast tempo, aggressive basketball has proven to bring success for the Nuggets and that`s exactly what the Nets hate at the moment. With Ty Lawson and Nate Robinson running the show most of the time the Nets will find it hard to match the Nuggets intensity.

Teams with totally different momentum and expect it to continue. Denver should be just too good and too aggressive for the Nets that misses important players due to injuries. -4.5 handicap should be covered.

I have always wondered how can you even care about stats like this when its obvious those teams are not even close to what they were even a year ago (both have new coaches and BKN has half of its roster changed). Not to say some of those games they played when Melo was still adored in Denver.

I think the Nets win straight up tonight. The Nets have played better in games where at least two of their big name players have sat out. Close game against the Clippers which they lost ( Garnett, Pierce and Williams out), and that game they won in Memphis ( Pierce and Williams both out too)
