Browndog Aside from the fact that the superbowl outcome has nothing to do with this conversation, if Kobe is such a terrible defender, why is he a six time all defensive first teamer? Tell me a shooting guard that has been offensively as potent as Kobe Bryant in which he had to guard? Kobe is a two guard and paul pierce is a small foward and most definetely will be guarded most of the time by Vlade Radmonovich but when the lakers go small and go fisher and vujacic or fisher and farmar and bryant moves down to the three spot, you will see how wrong you are about his defensive capabilities. Kobes point totals are actually up these playoffs rather than all his other playoff outing so Im not sure what you mean by that, and actually ray allens numbers are down during the playoffs and, what do you know, that is Kobes defensive responsibility so they wont be coming down anytime soon.

Browndog - My thoguhts on watching the game last night sort on conflict with yours. There is no arguement form me that the Celtics played a great game last ngiht and captured victory in a pivotal game 1...HOWEVER, i felt that if i were watching the game with no score (if you knwo what i mean) it SEEMED like the Celtics were blowign out the Lakers, but...they werent. playing on the road, against a GREAT celtics team and a GREAT boston fan base, the C's still couldnt pull away. I predict a great series, but last ngiht didnt sway me. I still see lakers takign the series (I also seeing them winnign the first ROAD game fo the two teams) Either way, jsut my thoguhts on the situation. did anyone else feel this? or am i all alone here?
