Had Celtics -1. Too bad I only had 15% on Celtics 4th Q. darn had I just bet them to win all four quarters, would have been 3-1.

You don't have to control the players,when you can control the people who control the game itself "the referees"they control every play,everytime a team is taking the ball out of bounds,from that point on the refs have complete control and can call a foul or something to stop that team from scoring,and on the way back down the other side of the court,call fouls to enable the team to score points,you can make drastic changes to a game,with just a couple crucial calls.They can change momentum or give a team momentum, with a simple whistle.

I don't think you can pay a player off that is making 10 million a year,but im sure a guy making a 100 grand a year(if that's what they make)is a lot easier to talk into "just calling a little foul or turnover on a team, here and there"in a crucial situation of the game.C'mon we have all heard of refs calling games to favor certain teams or players,or to prolong a playoff series so it goes 7 games,or calling games so the higher populated market team advances to make tv ratings more profitable,if the refs would base calls on something like that,why wouldn't they do it for straight up cash.Tim Donaghy or whatever his name is,said the league would tell the refs how they wanted certain games to be called,of course the league was kinda able to sweep that whole situation under the carpet.
