Victor Wembenyama to win regular season MVP +10000
Wembenyama to win rookie of the year -125
If MVP doesn't hit at least I likely hedge with rookie of the year IF he can stay healthy. NBA players are made of glass these days so it wouldn't surprise me if this bet flames out midseason lol.
This would be good for the NBA if Wembenyama is an instant success story there isn't an athlete his size that can move like him plus add another international star after Giannis and Jokic that they could prop up and advertise the shit out of, NBA is hurting for good publicity these days
Anyway this is my only NBA bet of the season can't be bothered with betting this shit league on a day to day basis, may put some more on this later in the future at reduced odds lol.
Sip on that plus money honey!

Long time DK hope you’re good spicy as bet…I think Giannis gonna win MVP this year but probably won’t bet any futures. Super excited for this season, praying my guy Dame finally gets a ring I could see Scoot win ROTY but that’s probably just me being a biased blazers fan GL this season

Winning MVP is a process, he's at least a few years away from being in that conversation, however defensive player of the year @ +2000 is the place you're better off taking a shot with him.
If you shop around, he's still -110 or even money to win ROY, which is as close to a lock as possible barring an early season ending injury.
Possible MVP longer shots worth looking at imo are Tatum +900 SGA +1500 Anthony Edwards +3300.

did thought about Scoot to win ROTY before the Draft, thought Wenbanyama was hype and likely to be injury prone lol but we'll see should be an interesting race. Good to see you again
@packersbackers
Nice to hear your thoughts PB. I agree he is +10000 for a reason. Last time a rookie won MVP was Wilt the Stilt and Wes Unseld, rare company. Victor will have to play out of his mind for 70+ games but that will be hard to do in today's NBA.
I only shop Vegas lines don't have any online/offshore accounts which I'm ok with. unfortunately the price gouging at the books is almost as bad as the overpriced service on the Strip, $15-$20 for bottle water lol. Prices for roty range from -140/-150, Circa has them at -130 now got it yesterday -125
DPOY is intriguing now that youve brought it up. And Antman at +3300 is very tempting hes only going to get better. thanks for the recommendations

Edwards needs to play huge and Minny has to be a top 4 team in order for him to get the necessary media hype, but he is a big talent and should put up massive video game type stats if he stays healthy.
If he played in a major market, he would be one of the leagues faces by now.

He didn't say how much he put on it. You never know he could go off and have an incredible year. His biggest challenge will be if Popovich let's him play enough minutes to win the award!

It's just a $20 bet nothing to go big on. I'd still be happy to collect 2k if it hits. I like the bet and want to root for the kid. He could bring some good publicity to the league that's surely lacking of it lately.

If Edwards has an amazing year after an improved offseason and progression, Minny can easily make the playoffs. Playoffs + Hype + Amazing stats = Possible MVP. Kid is a star, super star soon.

He will have to score almost 30 ppg and be leading scorer for the season if he can't get the twolves to best record in the west. That seems to be the only way imo if the past is any indication.

With the new rule change I would expect "load management" to look a little different this year....minutes restrictions over DNP's.... No way Pop gives the rook the court time needed to pull off an MVP award. DPOY perhaps other option in the 15-1 range.
Thank you America
