Your the first person to say something about it. Hey, I respect Torre and I respect him a lot more than A-Rod. I like A-Rod a lot, but he lost a bit of my respect when he opted out of the contract and came crawling back. I'm not saying what he did was the right thing to do but you can't blame him for being bitter. He led that team for 12 years to the playoffs while Girardi blows it his first season. Maybe it had nothing to do with Torre, maybe it had all to do with Torre but it's how you look at it.
