If Lebron doesnt play and they still have the line at -3.5 , I'm going large on Boston, but we all know he's playing.
Where did you see say me '' put stock in Rose's play'' loool , that's not at all what I said , I'm just saying if you saw Rose play you can actually see he can compete in those type of games.
And for the preseason record, Cavs were always up double digits at half and just sit out their rotation players, so if Felder , Osman, Frye , Tavares playing and losing a preseason game affects the Cavs then damn lol.

Anyways , assuming Lebron plays which he will , what happens with Brown guarding Lebron with Love at center where you can't help as much... What's the gameplan , oh let's not forget no Morris, questionable Baynes? Who else comes off the bench, Rozier + Smart is that really your ''DEEP'' bench? damn anyways you'll see tomorrow. Just telling your being biased here watchout dont go large on a game like this

If Lebron doesnt play and they still have the line at -3.5:
Well that's just about enough out of you.
So you think a team projected to win 55.5 games in Boston is going to get the same 3.5 pts against the best player in the world, the #1 line mover when he plays or doesn't play in any sport (maybe aside from Aaron Rodgers), you think that the Cavs line won't move if it is announced that James won't play.
Please tell me, for your sake, that you retract that statement (and when I say move I mean in a big way too), or never show your face in the NBA forum again.

I'm with it Scal. I've always been a fan of betting on a superstar the first time he returns home. I would of preferred this game be later on down the road so the C's have time to gel but so be it. First game of the season it is

I agree with the premise that u have to take the points here because at a minimum Boston has as good a chance To win in this spot as the Cavs.... if James plays the line might be 5-5 1/2, if he doesn't play will probably stay the same....
One thing I don't agree with Scal on is the how can u start Wade in this spot instead of Smith because Smith has been a "cornerstone of this team" I disagree with that statement because Smith is average at BEST ,he wouldn't be a cornerstone on my varsity high school team. Wade at his age is more productive.... it's a no brained but anyway Scal, I agree with u. I'll have a couple units on Boston.

Dang I am always on the NFL side, but I think I need to make my way over here for a peek. Sounds very interesting. You broke it down man! Awesome post. I did see a small preview of Cavs last week when Lebron tweaked his ankle. Not just because of his ankle I think the whole team is just got to much going on to fast. They must work hard in this preseason to gel correctly. I dont know, but so far I like the Celtics, but I could change my mind in a few hours.

@prodigy - Brown guarding Lebron?? You don't even have confirmation he'll even play the game and you are giving hand waves to that and the preseason losses which you first put stock For Rose's play and are now trying to dismiss because they ultimately lost them.
What a mess you've turned this thread into.
I see the haters are wasting no time this year.... Bol Scal

Scal I'll bite, I'll throw $100 on it tonight, heard somewhere that if lebron is out the line would move to celtics -3. I learned in the past the nba is a long distance marathon up Mount Everest so no way can I go over a bill.

@Pags - then how come they went to three straight finals with him and won one with him. Do you think just love Kyrie and Lebron could have done that alone. The Bulls WANTED to get rid of Wade for a reason. Add in the fact you run the risk of turning JR contemptuous and literally having him fold on the court. Big risk. Wade and Lebron played together many moons ago.

Playing Love at Center is the biggest mistake for the Cavs. Love isn't big enough he is going to get abused badly.
Who is going to 'abuse' Love badly?
Al Horford, who's repertoire is practically analogous to Love's in both size and style of play?
I won't claim Love is a good rim defender because he isn't, but I just don't understand why you are claiming Love will get 'abused' by a small Celtics front court that basically is modeled much like Clevelands.

Celtics got this tonight straight up +155. Cavs needs a crap load of free time to get the entire team to understand and be one team. Wade is unpredictable. 5 units....BOL
