Understood.  To me it is value because Boston is just that much better than Portland.  If the line was 6 you would still have plenty of Celtic backers because of how much better they are than Portland.  To me, Celts -4 is great value.  Especially since Camby is out and Boston is VERY WELL rested

Whenever Portland looks dead in the water at home they always find a way to get it done- I'm a Celtics fan and this is gonna be a tough game

Respect!!  I know Portland wont lay down but...I don't think they'll have enough to stay in the game for long.

Yeah if I was going to bet that game I'd be on the Mavs too but that has 1-1 written all over it to me.

I understand.  Portland is well rested as well.  You act like Boston is fully healthy as well.  No Shaq No J.O.  Perk looked good in his first game back but lets be honest it was against the worst team in the league in the Cavs.  Don't think he has an easy time against Aldridge who has been playing great and the Vanilla Gorilla Pryzbilla defensively.  Rose Garden is a tough place to play.  No question Boston is the better team.  I think they are best in the NBA just don't like them tomorrow especially at the number.  If it was -2 I'd be all over it.

4 of boston's 10 losses are off b2b's and 3 without rondo.  i can not see Portland winning this one

The kings beating portland makes me feel even better backing the Celtics.  If it wasnt for Aldridge Portland would have been washed up a long time ago

Aldridge, the reigning Western Conference player of the week, underwent an MRI on his right hip Tuesday after managing nine points in a 96-81 home loss to Sacramento on Monday. The defeat ended Portland's season-high five-game winning streak.

The exam did not show any tear or cartilage damage and Aldridge should be available Thursday.

With Aldridge at less than full strength, center Chris Johnson, who signed a 10-day contract earlier this week, could see extended minutes off the bench. Aldridge and Joel Przybilla will likely need help in the frontcourt against Kevin Garnett, Glen Davis and Perkins along with rookie big men Luke Harangodyand Semih Erden.

did the kings just destroy Portland at home 2 days ago????

yes portland do have wins 5 games in a row before that lost but I think they will lose a couple game in a row

Portland is still fighting for play-off, I expect them to be more motivated.

Not crazy about this celtics pick. Seems like a fishy line and truth be told, the Rose Garden is not that easy of a place to win at. I like the Celtics overall, but I agree with Deezy, if the line was -2 I'm in. Right now, I'm still iffy.

I'm pretty sure the Trail Blazers have gotten past getting ROY back in the line up anytime soon. They've done OK without him. I think 6-5 ATS or somewhere near that. Either way this game is pass for me. If anything I'm leaning OVER. I've been looking at my screen all day and this total has dropped to 183.5. It staring to look like an Overlay.

Road  fav and east at west  and tnt and portland at home ect . . Bottom line for me is Boston is getting healty is rested seems to b on a mission this year is well coached runs a dicsiplined set and should cover 4 buy 1/2 ... Portland is injured yes they will fight but cannot win in this spot and probably will not cover.
