Every team is different in how the react to a devastating loss. Some teams come out with fire in their eyes while others feel sorry for themselves. The Hornets are the latter. They are coming off their worst loss of the year a game they were in firm control of the entire game until the last 2 minutes where they let the Suns somehow steal a win. This group coming off a brutal home loss now go on the road to face the worst team in the league, I just don't see them coming out with anything. Sixers have been home well rested and haven't played since Monday. They know they haven't won a game at home yet and this is their best chance, I expect a strong effort and for them to stay within the number. Actually the proper play should be Sixers ML but I know most of you are scared shiitless of taking a ML dog. No need to take this now as the line will only go up and want 5.5 and should get there at some point. Even if it doesn't I will be on the Sixers plus the points and ML.

There's so many games on the board but I've now seen at least 5 threads discussing this crapshoot of a match up between cellar dwellers. It's so idiotic it's laughable.

Memphis coming off 4 games where 3 of them have been gone to OT and just beating the Spurs and GS might be much to ask them to come out and win again against a non conference team. Also Lebron looming next game. Bulls coming off a scrimmage yesterday should be well rested and ready to play. Interested in what the line will be and could be a play. Memphis right now is the best team in the NBA but tonight isn't the best spot for them because it will be a very physical and grind it out defensive battle. Not sure if they have the energy tonight to play this style as they are not exactly the youngest team in the league. They have vets with a lot of miles who they need to keep fresh, could be a throw away game for them.

As soon as Charlotte lost against the Suns I said to myself I am fading them next game. It just so happens to be the Sixers. I feel I have an edge with them, the fact they are bad teams has nothing to do with my thought process on the game. Who cares if both teams stink, it's about the spot. You only bet on great teams?

I see, well I don't necessarily just bet on great teams but match ups like 76ers and Hornets to me just stinks and from my point of view unless it's the only game on the board and I bet because I'm a degenerate otherwise I just stay away from match ups like these.

The NBA is about trying to find one team coming out flat or a team with greater motivation for that particular night not how good teams are. Season is so long every team throws games away because of the grind and travel. I do see your point Predictoraus though.
Listen it's one game nothing more, not like I'm going large on it like every other clown on this site who seems to go large on every game. I do have one game tomorrow in CFB that I like quite a bit where I may go larger than normal but I flat bet for the most part and try my best to have discipline.

You my friend have a bias. I don't know how it is logical to spin the matchup in a way where memphis will have the tired legs, when chicago is on the 2nd leg of a b2b and they are traveling from home.
What you may be correct about is that Chicago may be anticipating this game more than Memphis in the fact that they let the Knicks hang around until the 4th where they pulled away to win it.
I'm not sure how to spin the fact that Memphis just beat 2 top tier western conference teams in tough fashion, but i won't be so quick to use that as reasoning for an emotional letdown facing the Bulls.
On top of that the Bulls seem to have struggled in their matchup against the Grizz in recent history. With Rose and Taj out, this matchup should definitely favor Memphis.
You may be right that Grizz will be anticipating their away game against Cleveland, but don't think any game will be a throwaway game especially playing at home on a friday night.

You are right, situational spots are important in the NBA. Either way good luck.

this is laughable. so you are initially intent on FADING CHARLOTTE (based off their performance and the consequences of that performance), and now, SINCE IT'S PHILADELPHIA, you decide to rather FOLLOW THEM.
This sounds like a case where u should stay far away from this game. but BOL playing this crapshoot

Any time Chattanooga has played anyone with a pulse they haven't really competed. Tenn coming off a 24 blowout loss and playing their first home game in over two weeks means blowout. This shouldn't even be competitive tonight.

Arizona is in trouble tonight. First road game of the year and it's a tough one at that. I would argue their first real test of the year. Stay patient and watch this line climb. 6 is fine 6.5 is great. UTEP will be fired up and should stay within the number. Zona probably loses SU tonight.
jeepnjake only one game I like tomorrow in CFB, stay patient I'll have something tomorrow. Need to look over some things and make sure I'm not missing anything. Have some reading on it before I do anything.
Isles are interesting as well. For whatever reason they play some of their best hockey against the Wings and are well rested and getting healthy. An 11-3 home team is a short fav to a 9-7 road team. Boychuk is the glue to this team and you saw just how important he was when he was out. Isles don't blow leads when he plays and should be a go tonight. Amazing how important a physical stay at home defenseman can mean to a team.
Those are my thoughts on tonights games. Good luck everyone and happy holidays.

OKCSPURS just because you think it's a crap shoot doesn't mean others do. I am fading the makeup and character of Charlotte.
As far as the Bulls go little energy was wasted last night and the fact it's a back to back gives the line more value.
But you have not seen this team play without Lance. By all accounts, the guy is toxic, a cancer. There is a very strong likelihood that they play better without him tonight.

looks good 165. I am a Hornets season ticket holder, and can't be more frustrated at this point. The 4th qtr collapses have been brutal. I agree that this spot is good for Philly. As strange as it sounds, the bugs are better than they have showed, but really have no identity. In crunch time, it's give it to Jefferson down low, and hope the double team doesn't get there in time, or let Kemba try to take it himself. Gary Neal is a clutch shooter, but they don't seem to get him touches late.
ESPECIALLY if they get a big lead at half, fade the Hornets on a 2h bet until they prove they can close a game. I don't think they have given up by any means, since the East is so bad, but they know a win is within reach tonight, so I see a close game at the end and getting 4 or 5 is the right side.
