Chicago Atl total at 247.5

Both these teams generally play at a quick pace so there should not be much resistance defensively. The last meeting a few weeks ago was set at 241.5 and landed under at 238.
Hawks have gone under 3 games in a row (11-5 over/under this year) while the bulls have gone under 2 games in a row (9-7 ou this year) but with the exception of the last 3 road games for the hawks (all unders and 1-2 straight up) Atl was 5-0 to the over in their road games. Seems like they intentionally play at a faster pace on the road in order to attempt to make up for no home court. 

The bulls have the 29th ranked D in points allowed, the hawks are 28th in points allowed.

so with the first meeting going under and landing on 238, why is the posted total much higher at 247.5?

Gotta think these two are going to be pushing a very quick pace tonight and this should coast over. Need 31 points from each team in each quarter and one bad quarter could kill it, but again both defenses are terrible.

Trae young also coming off two games in which he only scored 12 and 7 points. Gotta think that changes tonight

Both teams top 3 in pace, not the best defense efficiency, and 20-12 to the over combined so a high total makes sense. 247.5 is a very high total though and any stretch of non-scoring may ruin this. Interesting what you said about the last game going under. Both teams not the greatest offense efficiency even though they going to play like a damn track meet. I’m passing..tough call bol

Sorry I was probably no help but I just looked at this game. I played Vucevic 3s. ATL is dead last guarding the 3.
