Total garbage. Miller was a much better clutch shooter. Both players
averaged 18.2 ppg and Reggie Miller was more consistent and better for a
longer period of time. Mullin's 20+ppg seasons were slightly higher but
Miller had more 20+ppg seasons. More importantly, Miller played longer
and never really had a bad season. Can Mullin say the same.
If you need a shooter to win or tie a game for you...who do you choose? Miller
Total disrespect. I love Mullin as a player (loved watching him at St. John's) but Miller has to get more respect.
I mentioned Rodman. Yes, he's special but he had no respect for the game
or life in general. REGGIE MILLER IS GETTING THE SHAFT AND HE'S
HANDLING IT WITH CLASS

This thread was clearly started by a 23 year old with no feel for the history of the game, biased by espns 30 for 30 on the knicks-pacers rivalry....lol....
relax, reggie will get his due.... he had a great career, but he is certainly not a first ballot hall-of-famer.... Reggie will get his due, but will and should have to wait a few years, just like Mullin and Miller.
Reggie Miller
ONLY 3 third team all-nba selections, 5-time all-star, all time great 3-point shooting numbers, all time great free-shooting numbers, solid scoring numbers, many memorable playoff games....
Chris Mullin
1 first team, 2 second team and 1 third team all-nba selections, 5 time all star, member of the ORIGINAL DREAM TEAM (Yes, he was that good). Similar career scoring average to reggie.
Conclusion:
Mullins best years were MUCH superior to anything reggie did, but reggie was more consistent over a longer period of time and has better playoff numbers. Both have 1 finals appearance (together on the 99-00 pacers), where mullin was a bench warmer and miller was the star

its a bunch of bullshit. Reggie is a first ballot HOF
you need atleast 1 first team all-nba selection to be a first ballot hall-of-famer. END OF STORY
...now I can buy the argument miller was behind jordan all those years, but he still doesn't have a second team selection and he did have '94, '95, and everything after '98 to beat out the other shooting guards and be atleast second team at some point in his career.
Even Reggie Miller "the basketball analysit" thinks he shouldn't be a 1st ballot hall of famer. Stop being ridiculous please.

hof is based on college career too,and mullin was clearly a lot better in college not even a debate on that
Seriously when did the "The Basketball Hall of Fame"...become the NBA Hall Of Fame. People are really questioning why Chris Mullins is a 1st round ballot? Uh he was arguably the best high school basketball player in the country in 1980. Won a gold medal in 1984 (when the Olympics were only amateur players). He was Big East POY 3 straight years! National POY in 1985. Those credentials ALONE get you 2nd round Ballot consideration. Then you throw in the Dream team, 1st team ALL NBA, 5X All Star, career scoring avg of 18+ over a 16 year career.
This cant be life? I hate shock threads like this
