I wont be betting Golden State. I do like them to cover but I can't do it. Because I love cavs to win. So I decided not to over think this. Cavs ML is the only play here
I do feel it will be close. Dubs wont be blown out (getting beat by more than 3 for them might as well be considered a blowout!)
Unless I am right with my crazy new theory about steph going down in game 6, rather than game 7. People call me stupid yet I predicted correctly steph's playoff injury already. Now I am simply predicting a tweak of the injury. Sports is not hard to predict once you can see and correctly lock onto their script.
Of course we are human we are not always right. Like OKC series I thought OKC was advancing. But I wasn't 100% sure. And it turned out I was wrong with that idea....BUT the core idea of my play there was that CAVS would WIN IT ALL and GS would NOT.
So my theory is still alive. Cavs still have a chance to win it all.
Oh almost forgot Bogut being out cements it!!! Nobody here has the true consensus on the matchup so none of us should really be arguing this point. I think its common sense the public will be chasing dubs. They RARELY lose 2 straight.
Yes, there will be a lot of people on Cleveland. For sure. But the majority of the money will be on the dubs and that is what counts
Let's say we have 99% on cavs, and each bettor is betting $5
But we have 1% on dubs and those bettors are betting $5,000
Where is all the money at? Clearly the dubs.
That is the situation we are in now. the actual consensus based on covers (which is somewhat accurate) is about 50/50 but the MONEY is on Dubs.
Cavs will win regardless....the books don't always take money from the public, gotta let em win sometimes obviously
But in this case consensus means nothing its more of "Who does the league want to win the championship this year"
The answer is obviously Cleveland.
Look, how many times has the league cared to script a game 7 in the finals? Not too often. So, what is different about this year? Nothing. They don't care about game 7. What they care about is making sure the cavs win (For LeBron and for Cleveland, and to make sure the whole WORLD doesn't cash their GS futures)
